町の規模に合わない立派な庁舎が特徴です。
らいでんスイカやらいでんメロンが魅力的に揃っています。
キャラクター共くん＆和ちゃんがPR活動を行っています。
北海道弁PRキャラクターのやべーべやくんと共和町役場に寄らせてもらいました。共和町にも道の駅ができたらいいですね。

敬老に力を入れている。多少成りとも図書館は、あってもよいと思うが、街が広く通うのが大変か。
