We stayed one night at the guesthouse of the green tea farm NaturaliTea. It’s in a small, cute village close to Fujieda.Tamiko, our host, and her family, made our stay wonderful and memorable: she organized everything, from pick-up at the train station, to bringing us to the local restaurant for dinner, and also acting as translator wherever needed. We didn’t have a car, so this was extremely valuable. She also organized a tour of the green tea fields of NaturaliTea where she held a tea ceremony for us at sunset with stunning views of the area, and explained everything we wanted to know about (organic) green tea (farming).The guesthouse itself is also beautiful. It’s held in traditional minimalist Japanese style, with beautiful details everywhere, and also showcasing local ceramics for use. Fully equipped (with kitchen and everything), one bedroom with “western-style” beds and one room wit Tatami mats. We were only a couple staying there, but the guesthouse has enough space for more people.Such a peaceful place, would want to go back anytime!
