I happened to randomly find this hotel while searching for areas to stay for our trip to Kyoto, and I’m so incredibly happy I did. My partner and I had such an amazing time, which was truly thanks to the wonderful staff there. We ended up arriving to the hotel really late in the evening but that wasn’t a problem at all, and even more so, they had already prepared a warm bath knowing we would want to rinse off and immediately head to sleep.The room was the perfect blend of traditional and modern, and the location couldn’t have been any better. We had the traditional Japanese breakfast every morning during our stay and it was always great! Overall, a fantastic place and we’ll never forget the kindness and hospitality of everyone there.
En 5 ans de relation, c'était de loin les meilleures vacances que nous ayons passées ensemble. L'emplacement dans le quartier est idéal et la chambre "Hanami" est magnifique (mention spéciale à l'armure de Samouraï qui est super cool). Un vrai cocon dans lequel nous avons adoré nous retrouver.Et surtout, l'équipe est absolument adorable. Je n'avais jamais vu des hôteliers se démener autant pour que leurs clients soient heureux. Elles étaient très accessibles, nous avons adoré discuter avec elles de temps en temps, ce qui ajoute une réelle ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale. Merci à elles d'avoir accepter de m'entraîner à pratiquer la langue japonaise malgré mon niveau qui devait probablement faire mal aux oreilles.Nous recommandons fortement!
素晴らしい京都の街並みがあり、小道を通るとホテルがあります。素晴らしいロケーションでホテルにはいるとさらに驚かされました。受付は、かっこいいバーカウンターでおこないます。スタッフの方は大変親切です。部屋にある檜風呂、清浄機、ドライヤー、アメニティなどの全ては洗練されてるものばかりでさらにさらに驚かされました。ベットも快適で、もっとこの時間を味わっていたいのにすぐ眠りにつくほどでした。また泊まりたいと思います。
緊急事態宣言が開け、近場で少し息抜きに…と夫と伺いました。京阪祇園四条駅から祇園の街並みを歩き、石塀小路という情緒ある小道を歩いたら到着。全室3部屋という贅沢な作りのホテルで、細部までこだわりのある物が使われており、フロントのバーカウンターからため息が出るくらい素敵でしたが、部屋に入ってさらに驚きました。琉球畳のお部屋で、床暖房がついており、とても暖かくゆっくりと落ち着けました。お風呂は檜風呂で、オーガニックの薬草の入浴剤で日頃の疲れがとれました。アメニティも全部が素敵すぎて、１泊では堪能しきれないくらいです。ずっと居たい空間でした。また、伺わせて頂きます。

We stayed here for one night whilst we were in Kyoto. The service was brillaint, starting with a welcome sake during the check-in process. The room was traditional but with all the modern amenities we required. The spa-style bath was phenomenal. We had a traditional Japanese breakfast served in our room in the morning, and despite it including a number of things I wouldn't usually eat, I couldn't fault it, everything was flavourful and delicious.
