出世恵美須神社の特徴
出世恵美須神社の恵美須神像は伝教大師作と伝わる貴重な存在です。
日本最古の寄木造りの恵美須神像をご覧いただける特別な神社です。
粟田神社の境内にある隠れた魅力を持つ小さな神社です。

出世恵美須神社創建年代は不詳ですが、もとは三条蹴上の夷谷に奉祀されていました。源九郎義経が牛若丸の幼少時代に奥州下向の時、源家再興の祈願をされた恵美須神であり、出世又は門出恵美須と称されました。500年以上前に蹴上の山崩れがあり、土砂と共に流出した際に止まったところが現在の三条神宮道付近であり、夷町といいます。永く夷町、金蔵寺に奉斎されていましたが、明治に粟田神社摂社として遷し、出世恵美須神社として崇敬されています。御神像は伝教大師の作と云われ、釣り上げた鯛を前にもち、大きく口を開けてお笑いになっているお姿で、日本最古の寄木造りの恵美須神像と云われています。平成９年解体修復され、平成１０年の十日えびすにて修復奉告祭が執り行なわれました。家運隆盛、商売繁盛の恵美須様です。（粟田神社HPより）粟田神社出世えびす祭出世えびす祭は例年1月9日から11日に行われます。出世えびす祭では商売繁昌・家内安全のご利益がある七福笹などの縁起物が授与されます。出世えびす祭ではご神像・恵美須神像がご開帳されます。恵美須神像は天台宗の宗祖である伝教大師・最澄作とも言われています。【粟田神社出世えびす祭2025 日程時間（要確認）】粟田神社出世えびす祭2025は2025年（令和7年）1月9日（木曜日）～11日（土曜日）9:30～17:00に行われる予定。一の鳥居の東の足の南側に道標が建っています。出世恵美須神社参道【道標】建立年 1940年建立者 奉斎会寸 法 高184×幅22×奥行20cm碑 文[西] 出世恵美須神社参道[南] 皇紀二千六百年十月二十日[北] 奉斎会建之Shusse Ebisu ShrineThe date of its founding is unknown, but it was originally enshrined in Ebisu Valley, Sanjo Keage. When Minamoto no Yoshitsune, still a child of Ushiwakamaru, went down to Oshu, he prayed for the restoration of the Minamoto clan, and was called Shusse or Kadoide Ebisu. More than 500 years ago, a landslide occurred in Keage, and the place where it stopped when it flowed away with the soil is near the current Sanjo Jingu Road, called Ebisu-cho. It was enshrined at Kinzo-ji Temple in Ebisu-cho for a long time, but in the Meiji era it was moved to Awata Shrine as a subsidiary shrine, and is revered as Shusse Ebisu Shrine. The statue is said to have been made by Dengyo Daishi, and is said to be the oldest wooden Ebisu statue in Japan, with a fish that he caught in front of him, his mouth wide open, and a smile on his face. It was dismantled and restored in 1997, and a restoration ceremony was held at Toka Ebisu in 1998. At the Shusse Ebisu Festival, lucky items such as the Seven Lucky Bamboos, which are said to bring prosperity in business and safety in the home, are given out. At the Shusse Ebisu Festival, the statue of the god Ebisu is open to the public. 旅立ちの神社。この付近が東海道の出入り口に位置していたことから名付けられたのだろう。
令和二年 7月26日 京都梅雨の旅粟田神社 出世恵美須社御神像は伝教大師の作と云われ、釣り上げた鯛を前にもち、大きく口を開けてお笑いになっているお姿で、日本最古の寄木造りの恵美須神像と云われています！！
栗田神社内にある小さな神社です。他にも色々な社がありました。
粟田神社のすぐ隣です。
昔買った恵比須像が社務所に売ってなかったッス⤵️
