This rental shop is top tier. I cannot say how satisfied I was. The kimonos itself are just gorgeous and the fabric is stunning. The quality makes the kimono look super rich and a breathtaking moment for the person in it. The kindness and professionalism of the shop lady was so lovely. She makes you look like a piece of art. The way she created my obi made me stand out from all the other girls. I can really say this rental shop if one of the best in Kyoto. Please visit her and rent your beautiful one of a kind kimono!
The lady was super helpful and considerate! She was able to speak Chinese. A wide selection of kimonos; I picked the cute aesthetic. Went to take photos at the nearby Bamboo forest. Overall a wonderful and personalised experience :) would definitely recommend her to others!
Rented back in April 2025, just got time to review. Location is just one way from train station to the bamboo forest. Owner is very friendly and motherly, we dont really understand each other but she makes effort to communicate and use google translate. The choices of kimonos are sooo beautiful!! Plus point you can go up to rooftop level to take private pictures with great scenery. Very very recommend to rent kimono and yukata here!! ♥️
