I stumbled upon this establishment by walking the streets of Kurashiki. I had my first tea ceremony demonstration in Japan and learned about etiquette and history of tea ceremony. The staff were all very kind and patient with us. The whole experience was wholesome and genuine. I could have easily spent an hour there talking to the staff.
We had an exceptional Walking Tour of Kurashiki with Haru and Keiko, providing us with in depth detail of incredible historical events and stories going back many, many generations and hundreds of years. Highlights were many including Kanryuji Temple, Achi Shrine and the stories of prominent clans and significant landmarks as well as the importance of the canals. Very personable tour, entertaining and highly recommended if you're in beautiful Kurashiki!
We are so glad we booked this guided tour in Kurashiki! Our guide and our translator were both such great personalities. They were extremely knowledgeable and come from families that have been in Kurashiki for centuries - incredibly special.Our guide even gave us food recommendations including Sami which we immediately booked for dinner later that night. We did a walking tour in Kurashiki with Mr. Hara which was amazing, it was very interesting and you can tell he really cares about the tour and the culture. Special mention to the interpreter, she was really helpful and friendly too!!! Highly recommend this tour if visiting Kurashiki

Twee heel aardige dames die ons hielpen. Ze hebben alles goed uitgelegd en tips en routes gegeven.Prima fietsen alleen heel hard zadel. Een westers zadel op voorraad zou prettig zijn geweest. Na 45 km kon ik echt niet meer zitten🙃. Verder superleuk om rond te fietsen dan zie je toch iets meer.
