Wide range of Grower champagne with small selection of Maison champagne. Friendly service, well designed interior with a Joan Miro decor. You might come across some rare bottles of lucky!

京都の高倉夷をほんの少し西に入ったとこにあるグロワーシャンパーニュ(レコルタンマニピュランとほぼどう意義かな？)のお店であるランコントルさんに行ってきた。以前から気になってたけど、やっと行けたって感じ。お店の前は何の飾りも無く、よく見るとRencontreと書いてある。隠れ家的雰囲気。入店も事前予約が必須。店内はすっきりとしており落ち着けた。この日はシャンパーニュ4種とシャンパーニュ地方の赤ワイン1種がグラスワインとしてラインナップ。どれも初めての銘柄。2種類いただいたが、全くニュアンスの違う物で、どちらも美味しかった。お値段は3,000から4,000円とそれなりにするけどどれもなかなか入手できない小規模生産の物ばかり。親しみやすい女性が1人で切り盛りされていて手際も良かった。また酒販免許も持ってるとの事で、ボトルを購入することもできる。1人や気のおけない友人と落ち着いて味わえるバーがまた一軒増えた。
小規模生産者のシャンパーニュが凄く素晴らしい！お値段は決して安くは無いけど飲めばその価値がわかる！
Amazing selection of hard to find grower champagne. Must visit for anybody who loves champagne!! A chance to sample allocated champagnes by the glass or bottle. We also bought a bottle retail to bring home. One of the highlights of our trip!We needed to reach out on Instagram to make a reservation. Typically walk ins aren’t accepted.
The best champagne bar in Kyoto or the entire of Japan. The selections are extremely amazing but the passion and soul of the place and the person behind it is unmatched. It’s a must for your Kyoto itinerary!
Beautiful champagne bar with extensive selection of grower champagne. Interesting by-the-glass selection available daily. Top glassware. Highly recommended to all.
Very special place where I spend couple of nights during staying in Kyoto.
