Me and two mates took a chance on this well-hidden bar last weekend. It’s the very definition of a tiny Japanese bar, five or six seats at the bar and a table in the corner, that’s it! It was a Sunday so we had the place to ourselves. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and we sat and listened to the Beatles and watched baseball while occasionally fielding the usual questions about where we were from and how long we had been in Japan. He also gave my mate an incredibly generous whack of rum. Prices tend towards expensive (like all bars in japan), but I’d definitely recommend it based on the chill atmosphere.
