マックミルハウス 下田の特徴
オーナー夫婦の温かいおもてなしが心に残る素敵な旅行先です。
調理器具が揃っていて、食材を持ち込むだけで安心です。
ログハウスを丸ごと1棟貸し切れる贅沢な空間です。
家までは急勾配の手作り石階段で危険です。駐車場もありと記載してますが、路上駐車です。エアコンのリモコンが壊れてるので温度調整に30分掛かった。風呂場は木の壁なので黒カビがすごいです。テレビは映らないのでDVDが沢山置いてあります。他の口コミにあるような追加請求などはありませんでした。ただ、ここに多少安く泊まるくらいなら次回は普通のホテルにしたいと思う場所。コテージだと思えば良いけど、それにしては高額。
今回、ファミリーで1泊させて頂きました(o^^o)ほんとにオーナーさん夫婦も良くして下さり最高な旅行になりました👍ログハウス丸ごと1棟借りれる感じで食材など色々買い込むだけで調理器具やらは全てあるので最高です✨️今回持病の痛風が出ていた為、部屋までの階段はキツかった💦wリピート確定なので次回は体調万全で伺いたいです😊家族みんな大満足でした✨️ほんとうにありがとうございました☺️
Airbnb利用で友人と3名で宿泊しました。とても素敵な内装で断熱効果の高いカナダ製のログハウスで、12月という寒い時期でも暖かく過ごせました。特に薪ストーブが楽しめて最高でした。WiFiはポケットWiFiでしたが高速で、Web会議も全く問題なくできました。オーナーさんもスタッフさんもとても親切で、BBQコンロのセッティングや薪の追加なども対応してくださいました。玄関にたどりつくまでの階段が急なので、荷物は軽くなるように分散して持って行くのがオススメです。
We spent one night at Mcmill house when touring the Izu peninsular. ||The advertised shuttle service was actually the owner who obligingly transported us from and to the rail station. Otherwise he was happy to order a taxi for us for any other trips we cared to make.||||The house is located in the hills about 4 kms out of town. The access road is steep.||The house is built on a high, steeply sloping block which gives views across the valley town (Kyuokagatamura) and back to Shimoda & the ocean.||The exterior is metal clad but the interior is all timber.||||Internet is not available. We had booked through Booking.com and were surprised to be charged an extra 2,000Yen "cleaning fee" by the owner.||||The house has an open plan kitchen living area, a bathroom, a toilet & a bedroom on the first level. Overlooking this level is a loft with a double bed and numerous futons.||We were fortunate to have single occupancy but we did not have access to the closed bedroom.||It is difficult to see how dual occupancy could work as the loft is open to any noise from the kitchen/lounge area. There is no seating/dining area aside from the lounge & coffee table.||||The access steps to the house are not suitable for pregnant mums, toddlers or older customers with luggage. similarly the ladder to the loft must be used with caution.||||The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, gas cooker & an empty refrigerator.||Spices & instant coffee were provided but there wasn't any milk, butter or spreads.||||Breakfast was included and the owner did return with OJ, bananas, bread & tea - but no spreads.||||There is a small pizza eatery located near the base of the hill. Don't try the house red.

周辺のオススメ
友達がAirbnbで予約してくれて、宿泊しました。素敵な空間でコスパもよく、最高でした。オーナーさんがとても親切で、薪の準備などしてくださいました。駐車場はありませんが、行き止まりの道なので停められます。眺望がよく、星も綺麗でした。階段は確かに急ですが、小学生以上、大人なら大丈夫です。シニアには厳しいかも。広くて大人数でも宿泊できます。いつかリピートしたい。
