In this pitch dark village at noon got, there is only one small izakaya. A baraque like those by the river in Fukuoka. A simple wooden counter with benches that become fully packed within five minutes of opening. The customers are a mixed of locals and guests at the inn. The tempo is given by a young, energetic and smiling master Chef, busy as hell to content everybody at once. His kindness and dexterity are heart filling. The onions and the pork sizzle like in the generic of Midnight Dinner, a popular TV series about an izakaya in Kabukicho whose Master not only caters food but also provides consolation and sometimes reparation to his distressed patrons, all with a singular life story. Would it be the same here?The freshly olive-oil, stir-fried edamame (green soy beans) were sparking, the yakisoba (fried noodles) had a profound taste, like a childhood memory -the Chef must have got the recipe from his grandma. Rice-distilled shochu in warm water seemed very appropriate (although I still prefer sake). What was also touching was the generosity of the locals, an old man, who offered us hashi (chop sticks) that he produces himself « to last 100 years », and a lady, who shared with us some miso-paste pastries.An out of the way place that rekindles your hope in humanity. May it never changes!
Petit yatai à l'ambiance chaleureuse tenu par le propriétaire de l'auberge d'en face. On peut bien boire et bien manger à bon prix! L'oden est particulièrement recommandé
熊本県水俣市にある居酒屋さん向かいにあるゲストハウス旅館の関連施設、宿泊客以外も利用可能で旅館のオーナーが自ら運営している屋台風の造りで趣があるが、屋根や壁はがあるため雨風はしっかり凌げる店内は薄暗い照明でカウンター席のみ木製の長板椅子で10人弱ぐらい入れる料理は定番メニューと季節のオススメが数品あるが、材料さえあればオリジナルの品をつくってくれる（持ち込み可能）また、目の前の清流で採れたものや、ジビエのメニューがある事もあり非常に希少性が高い飲み物は屋台にしては豊富で、店主が仕入れたレア焼酎や手作りリキュールのお酒などがある地産地消の食事やお酒を楽しめる店宿のオリジナルクラフトビールも提供している立地条件が厳しいが、わざわざ行く価値があるお店といえる現金のみ¥

ビール一本のつもりが地元産のサツマイモで仕込んだ焼酎を頂きました。ワンショット250円、芋の香りが強く美味しかったです。

遅い時間にやっているご飯屋さんも少ないかなと思いましたが、かるく一杯、しかも安くて飲めて満足でした。
tojiyaさんから歩いて20秒です。湯上がりに一杯。車なので、ノンアルコール。おつまみも季節に合わせて。冬なのでおでんがありました。
若い店主と女性スタッフが湯の鶴で頑張ってます応援したくなるお店です料理も地酒も美味しくて飲み過ぎましたまた行きます。
