I bought a new set of kendo bogu from Watenabe Sensei recently. I have been doing Kendo for about 12 years and wanted a newer set for testing. The set I got was excellent it is hard stitched so offers great protection for a great price and I have gotten lots of compliments! I am an English speaker, but using Google translate was able to communicate with sensei! Enough to choose and order the bogu! I went to the store on Monday for fitting and was able to pick up the bogu on Friday. They take credit cards! Highly recommend! Yes it is about an hour train ride from Tokyo but well worth the trip!
