日本語は英語の後に書いています。Even from a Japanese perspective, it is a piece of Japanese architecture engraved with time-honored techniques.Situated on high ground, you can look down on the cityscape of Tanabe as well as the mountains of Kumano, rivers, and the sea - it's truly a spectacular view.The outdoor corridor with its breathtaking view is excellently presented, and you can experience the emotion of standing on nature's stage.Even though I grew up in Tanabe, I was very impressed with the inside of the building.On the first day I visited, the cherry blossoms at the entrance were beautiful, and a slight breeze made the cherry blossoms fall like snow, making it look pretty.It is the perfect environment for enjoying pure Japanese architecture.I think you'll be able to look down on the main event of the summer Tanabe Festival, and you'll also be able to see the fireworks display.日本人から見ても、由緒有る技が刻まれた日本建築です。高台に有り、眼下には田辺の街並みは勿論、熊野の山々、河川、海が一望出来て正に絶景です。絶景を望む屋外の廊下は、とても優れた演出をしていて、自分が自然のステージに立ったかのような、感動が体感できます。建物内も、私、田辺育ちの人間でも、とても感動しました。初めて訪れた日は、入口の桜がとても綺麗で、少し風で花吹雪となって綺麗でした。純粋な日本建築を楽しむには、最適な環境です。夏のお祭りの田辺祭りのメインイベントも、見下ろす事が出来ると思いますし、花火大会も鑑賞出来るでしょう。
