Very good guide with a great sense of fun and adventure! We went on a snow-shoe expedition and had a wonderful time.
We took the Iozen hiking route to Onuma pond. The guides were extremely knowledgeable on the area. We learned a lot about the mountain and its importance in Japanese history as a source of medicinal herbs.I would highly recommend Masa-san’s team of expert trekkers and translator!
I went on a bike tour for Kanazawa City and it was super pretty and entertaining! We went to not just beautiful scenery spots but also a place similar to a museum where you get to go inside a traditional Japanese merchant house and go upstairs as well! We visited local shops that the tour guide knows that we would have never found on our own and they have a guide to help translate as well! It was super fun and minimal biking experience was required. The tour guide matches the pace and you can do this without good stamina!
The guides were very informative and kind, and we visited a lot of diverse and beautiful locations! If you don’t know Japanese, it’s alright! They have people who will help translate!

We went snowshoeing with some other foreigners using this guide. He was very nice and did a great job of explaining how to use the snowshoes. He then guided us through the forest near ichirino onsen and helped us if we fell or had any trouble. We headed to a mountain hut where we could see Sika deer before returning to the ski area. Even though he doesn't speak much English there is a translator who can come on the trip too. Also he can pick you up from Hokutetsu Tsurugi Station.
