In Osaka, my boyfriend insisted we had to try okonomiyaki at least once. He told me he knew a small place that might be really good in Nara, and I agreed, though I’ve never actually had a good experience with okonomiyaki before.The place was tiny and adorable, with only eight seats. One woman cooked and ran the whole place herself.We ordered the pork one and the mixed one. Both were so good and didn’t need anything added at all.It was the first okonomiyaki I’ve ever liked. Super cozy and really nice.
Best meal! Okonomiyaki has some crunch to it from the chunky vegetables, and is not filled with flour (like commercial places). Very homey vibe. English menu is available so ordering is easy. Price is around 1k yen for each which is affordable.
Okonomiyaki e yakisoba noodle davvero buonissimi. Posto molto piccolo ma accogliente.

奈良町を探索していて、お昼に何処に入ろうかとウロウロしていて見つけた「お好み焼き屋」。カウンターだけで、８人で満席の狭い店。豚玉を注文した後、しばらくしたら２人の外人が入ってきた。注文した豚玉は少し小振り。もう少し大きいと嬉しいのだが………よく分からん店で高いランチを食べるより、気楽でいい。
The food was delicious, the place itself is really cozy, with a great playlist and the owner is very very friendly. We had an amazing experience. Definitely recommend this place!
Buscábamos un sitio para probar Okonomiyaki y encontramos este restaurante pequeño (tipo barra) con muy buena puntuación en google maps así que fuimos. La dueña no habla inglés pero sí tiene el menú traducido, así que sin problema. Lo único a tener en cuenta es que solo se puede pagar en efectivo. Pedimos el de ternera y el de cerdo con extra de queso y cebolleta. Estaban muy buenos ambos, aunque puestos a elegir, el de cerdo tenía más sabor. Muy recomendable.
Very tasty and nice and cosy. It's a small restaurant with lots of charm. She is very quick with the fresh food, which she prepares right in front of you. She also accepts special requests, which is a dream, especially for vegetarians!とても美味しく、居心地がいい。魅力いっぱいの小さなレストラン。彼女が目の前で調理してくれる新鮮な料理はとても手早い。特別なリクエストにも応えてくれるので、特にベジタリアンにとっては夢のようだ！
I stumbled across this hidden gem and enjoyed such a GREAT lunch meal! I ordered the Pork Okonomiyaki which was DIVINE! Super delicious and the perfect portion to make you still feel light enough to continue exploring around the Nara Deer Park. The chef/owner was a super lovely lady and radiated a very happy & friendly environment to be in. I love the intimate nature of the restaurant only seating 12 people at a time. I wish I could eat this meal everyday!

Excelente experiencia, la dueña del local fue muy amable con nosotros. El ambiente era acogedor y la comida estaba deliciosa. Recomiendo el Okonomiyaki de calamar y el Yakisoba.
