清里町のシンボルと言っても過言ではない、町が作るじゃがいも焼酎の醸造工場！なんと無料で工場見学できます！
Kiyosato Shochu Distillery is one of the most unique places to visit in Kiyosato Town. The distillery is famous for producing potato shochu using locally grown potatoes and the clear water from Mount Shari. It’s interesting to learn how this local specialty is made and how it became one of the town’s signature products.Visitors can walk around the facility and watch a short video explaining the production process. The visit is fairly quick, but it’s still informative and gives a good introduction to the history and craftsmanship behind Kiyosato’s shochu.The building itself has a distinctive Western-style design, and the surrounding countryside gives the place a peaceful atmosphere. If you are exploring the Shari–Kiyosato area, this distillery is a nice stop to learn about a unique part of local culture.
建物の前には広い駐車場がある。事務所は２階。繁忙期は工場見学は受け付けていない。なお焼酎の販売は行っておらず、隣のきよーるで販売している。
清里のじゃがいも焼酎の工場です。駐車場あり。階段を登り2階から入ります。見学は無料でした。ひんやりとした館内で見学が楽しめます。商品の販売、購入は隣にあるきよーるで出来ました。
札幌から知床観光の道中に立ち寄りました。「今まで飲んだ焼酎で一番美味しい」同行者談。私は下戸なので伝聞ですがとても飲みやすいらしいです。お酒好きな方はぜひ。
