Absolutely loved this place when we stopped in Oki. Been trying to find the recipe for their Cowboy Root Beer or something similar since I left.

ここに来てもう2年近くになりますが、ここの環境と人々が本当に大好きです。いつも楽しい時間を過ごせます。田舎で過ごし、新しい人と出会うのが好きなら、ここはまさにぴったりの場所です。

This is the best bar in all of Okinawa. They are the nicest and most generous people in the whole wide world. I highly suggest this bar if your trying to have a great time!!
This bar has been home to my and my wife for some time. I now help out and work here. It’s been a home away from home and honestly the people here have a southerners respect. You won’t find a place like the saloon anywhere and the folks that work here are some of the best people you will ever meet. Hands down best bar out here
One of the best bars in Okinawa! The owners and staff go above and beyond for customers and do their best to ensure a good time is had by all. Any disrespect or unruly attitudes are dealt with accordingly and at no inconvenience to others. This bar is frequented by service members more than locals, so the expectation from the staff is that customers act accordingly. Service members are expected to behave and act more professional and polite than civilians, and will be held to these higher standards. This is not negative in anyway, as The Saloon does it part in ensuring that service members retain the ability to enjoy their liberty and have a good time doing so. The bar is kept immaculately clean and has a reputation for being the cleanest in town. The only limitation to the types of drinks/cocktails you can purchase is you imagination. Whole heartedly recommend this bat to EVERYBODY!!!!
One of my favorite places to go! The owner and staff are simply amazing. A great place to go and cut loose, enjoy some good music and even better company. Respect the bar and you are treated like family.
