We enjoyed the cooking class with Rina tremendously! She was patient in guiding us through the session and was candid in sharing with us answers to our queries which we may have!Really delicious traditional Ryukyu dishes as well! Highly recommend 😊
We had an amazing time at Shimamidori Okinawa kitchen! Rina was so warm and fun, and made learning Ryukyu cuisine really enjoyable. The class was relaxed, hands-on, and full of laughter, plus the food was delicious!She also shared great local izakaya recommendations, which we loved. One of the highlights of our Okinawa trip 🌺 Highly recommend!
Such a lovely experience in this kitchen ✌️ I had my birthday here that my friend surprised me with and had the best time with the host too! It was so well planned, the kitchen and house was so special and clean ✨ I’ve never had an experience like this before and had the most delicious sweet potato cream cheese cake, and made my own bento box too 🍱 highly recommend!! Such a sweet family or friend activity to understand Okinawa food and culture 💛 heart is full 💛
10/10 experience! Rina is the absolute sweetest. This is in her lovely home. She told us about the history of a lot of the dishes and about Okinawa culture. It was my friend’s bday and she suggested we make a cake! We made a cream cheese sweet potato cake that was banging and so creative! Paid so much attention to all the details. Highly recommend! Food was so tasty and on the healthier side which we loved!
Rina was a fabulous host, great communication leading up to the class and professional and friendly throughout the class. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere created by Rina as we made each dish and really enjoyed the insight into the dishes and Okinawan cuisine that we had been eating during our holiday on the island. We would definitely recommend Rina to anyone going to Okinawa.
Deze kookles was top! Rina is super vriendelijk, kan goed Engels en de gerechten zijn heel leuk om te maken. En uiteraard ook lekker genieten van het eten na het koken. Echt een aanrader als je naar Okinawa komt!
Rina cooking class was very fun, taste and full of history. I didn't just learn how to make traditional Okinawan dishes, I also learned bits of history that allowed for a fuller understanding of the significance of what I was cooking. Rina is a great teacher, she's very patient, kind and warm personality. If you have any interest in taking a cooking class, Shimamidori Okinawan kitchen is the #1 place to go. Thank you again Rina!
