Hotel JIDAIの特徴
昨年オープンしたばかりの新しいホテルです。
京都駅やショッピングモールに近く便利です。
スーツケースが3つあっても余裕の広さがあります。
Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy. The hotel is close to Kyoto Station, shopping mall, and coin laundry. Very convenient. We have 3 suitcases and the room can accommodate them well. Staffs are nice and email communications are fast. Overall, very satisfy, will stay here next time.
昨年オープンしたての真新しいホテル。各階、日本の各時代をイメージしたテーマでデザインしてあるとこと。部屋はきれいで清潔。駅からも遠くなく、コンビニも歩いてすぐのところにあるので便利です。スタッフの女性の方は親切でフレンドリーでした。夜間はスタッフが不在になるようですので、チェックインが遅くなる場合は連絡しておく必要があります。団体客の宿泊を想定されているようで、私の宿泊した部屋はダブルベッドが二つありました（写真参照）。この部屋で、しかもこの利便性なら、宿泊費は相当高いだろう、と思われるかもしれませんが、価格はとてもリーズナブル。オフシーズンとはいえ、一泊1万円以下とは思いませんでした。とてもいいホテルだと思います。お勧めできます。
We are a family of 5 (kids aged 19, 17,13) staying in December of 2016 for 6 nights. The Budget Inn was very easy to find, very well located near the train station. It was clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. Our first night the room smelt of smoke (unfortunately someone had smoked inside the room, which they are not supposed to) when we asked if we could change rooms there was no hesitation in doing so in fact staff were very apologetic for the situation. There is a bakery near by where we purchased pastries and brought them back to the Inn to eat for breakfast. They have communal room to sit (on the floor traditional style) and eat however we preferred the dining room in the Capsule Ryokin (associated accommodation) literally around the corner where we sat on chairs. The have amenities available as well. There are lots of places to choose from to eat nearby. They have a manual in the room with lots of information about what to do and where to eat which I found extremely helpful. During our stay we took the bullet train to Hiroshima and Osaka. We also visited the Bamboo Forrest which I really enjoyed. They allowed us to squeeze a fifth person into a room that is usually for 4 so it was a bit tight however we were appreciative that were able to do this as it made it more economical for us. Accommodation in Japan can be expensive but staying at the Budget Inn made it affordable. We even received parting gifts. It is budget accommodation but that's all we needed. Great stay with great service.
Céntrico, a 5 minutos escasos de la estación de tren de Kyoto. Ubicado en una pequeña y tranquila calle. Habitaciones amplias con todo lo necesario. Amplia habitación de tatami, con pequeña terraza. Pequeño recibidor con cocina integrada. Toilette y aseo ducha independiente.||El personal de recepción está en otro pequeño hotel cercano, 50 metros doblando una esquina.||Por ubicación y características es recomendable para viajar en familia, ya que es tranquilo, económico y dispone de lavadora para uso de los alojados. Nosotros éramos un matrimonio con niños de 6 y 8 años.
La struttura e facilmente raggiungibile dalla stazione del treno di Kyoto. La stanza era comoda e la camera da letto in stile tradizionale giapponese (con i futon) era fantastica. Tra l'altro era la mia prima esperienza con i futon e li ho trovati comodissimi. Il bagno era poi all'avanguardia. Il personale della struttura si è dimostrato altamente professionale e disponibilissimo. Consigliato a tutti gli amanti delle strutture di tipo Ryokan.
My father, sister, two sons (aged 7 and 10) and I were in Kyoto for the final 4 nights of our Japan trip. We checked out on the 4th July 2016 and returned to Australia yesterday. The family room exceeded my expectations. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and it was close to Kyoto Station. The room was cleaned daily to s high standard. I am very glad we stayed in this area, as I had initially booked us in to a more central Kyoto location. We did day trips to Universal Studios in Osaka, Nara, and Hiroshima, returning late so being near the station was extremely convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere clean, nicely renovated, cheap and convenient to stay. I don't have a single complaint.
Visual instructions from the Inn was very handy. Very conveniently located close to Kyoto Station and bus terminal as well as Isetan Dept Store, Porta Dining, etc. Plus there are lots of restaurants in the vicinity of the Inn. Washer and dryer on the 1st floor. You don't have to use the dryer as you can hang your laundry on the balcony outside your room. There's a common room with a fridge, microwave and plates and utensils to eat simple meals. Strong wifi inside the room, famous Japanese toilet that greets by lowering its seat (I guess there's a sensor) in one room, and a separate room for bathtub and a sink; you also have another sink to wash your cups, efficient a/c; elevator getting up to your room. The three staff members were super helpful. We had lots of fun as they helped to dress us up with kimonos and supplied umbrellas and fans. Do stay at Budget Inn when in Kyoto! You won't regret it!
We were looking for a reasonable priced accommodation near Kyoto station for our family of 4, and we found Budget Inn! It's a clean, nice hostel with everything you needed for a good night sleep. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with 24 hr convenient stores nearby, the bus stops are around the corner to get to most of Kyoto attractions.We didn't get to use the kitchen & common area, but they looked clean & well equipped. We had to check-out early in the morning so used the key deposit box, very convenient.
Well, for an Australian after getting over the shock of what a 25 metre room looks like it was all pretty good. About 8 minutes walking distance to the Kyoto Railway station, close to everything. Don't made the mistake of walking on the Tatami mats with even indoor slippers, its only socks or bare feet. Japanese etiquette means there is even toilet slippers only for the Toilet!! and all shoes need to face the door. You be thankful the beds fold up as in the western hotels are often the same size with a double or two singles beds in them. Only got to the Bakery they advise for breakfast pastries but that was sensational. they have a folder with lots of good tips for food, day trips attractions and rail travel which was really useful. The Lounge Room and Dinner areas are shared with the 8 rooms but it was not often in use for the 10 days we stay there.

We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Jidai during our trip to Kyoto in October and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!||||The property was recently renovated so everything is very modern. You can also tell that a lot of thought was put into the design to preserve the history and culture of Kyoto.||||I really appreciated and enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the reception lobby especially in the early mornings before heading out for a long day of sightseeing.||||The hotel is located in a peaceful and safe neighbourhood and very convenient - 5 mins. walk to Kyoto Station, close to many 24HR convenience stores and tourist attractions. The room itself was spacious (especially by Japan standards), beds were very comfy and most importantly the bathroom was large and clean. The staff are exceptional and very responsive to communications.||||Overall, very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Kyoto!
