谷口陶磁器製作所の作品が多数揃い、高いセンスを感じられます。
接客の丁寧さが印象に残り、心地よい時間が過ごせました。
The pieces are so beautiful and unique. The designs on them are delicate and fun. Most things are rather highly priced, which definitely matches quality, but it’s worth keeping in mind. I ended up with a gorgeous bowl depicting one of the Choju-Giga images. I’m so happy :3 thank you!

My wife and I picked up a few items for ourselves and as gifts for family members. They are high quality and we use them all the time. Lovely shop.
第二次來到這裡，這次帶回了兩隻招財貓做收藏，也謝謝老闆帶我們參觀他的工作環境。覺得這一趟來這裡收穫滿滿，尤其可以看到這麼有歷史的房子真的非常值得！
This shop has beautiful and unique pieces. It was a little bit expensive but is worth it and you will get one of a kind pieces. I met the artist and the family that runs the shop and they were very nice people. I asked to sit because i was very tired from the heat and they even gave me green tea and sweets. They even gave me an umbrella to use outside due to the sudden rain. Visiting this shop was totally worth it. I hope i can visit again next time im in kyoto.
入口右側に谷口陶磁器製作所の作品を扱っていますが、それが抜群にセンスがいいですね。

Family owned ceramic functional art shop. Both father and son are making some of the most unique and special pieces. 5 generations of local Kyoto artisans and craftsmen - the work of the father is more traditional with a focus on the Kamakura period - feudal Samurai Japan. The son’s pieces are more modern in design and form. We had to buy from both! You would easily pay 2X to buy these same pieces online or in the states.
