Amazing dojo with exceptional sensei. Highly recommended.
This is an excellent dojo, and Kawasaki sensei is an outstanding karateka. Highly recommend a visit!
The dojo is excellent, and the Sensei Kawasaki offers quality training.
I have been a practitioner of Okinawa Shorin Ryu in Canada for the past 9 years. By chance, I gotta into Kawasaki Kyoshi’s dojo. It is a good-sized dojo, and the sensei has a good sense of humour. But don’t let that fool you, he is excellent in Shorin Ryu Karate and Kobudo. Kawasaki Kyoshi is one of the official judge for Okinawa Prefecture Karate .Update: We have black belts who speak excellent English. Feel free to send us any questions in English. There is a decent-sized parking lot in front of the dojo. It's the parking next to a white house next door.

I am very happy that I have gotten to know Bushinkan Honbu Dojo and sensei Kawasaki.Even though Shorin Ryu is not my style of karate, each time I have trained, I have gotten valuable insights that I have been able to incorporate into my style of karate, together with an overall good understanding of karate in general and this style of Shorin Ryu in particular. The dojo is a bit out of the way, and a small dojo in terms of number of pupils, but this gives time to go into depths of the techniques and the meaning behind them. The training is very good for the body, and Sensei Kawasaki is very accommodating if you have any injuries, so don't let that hold you back.So whatever your style and whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, I would very much recommend making this dojo a part of your plan if you are visiting Okinawa for practice.I look very much forward to coming back again.
