We had the best time there! They were both so sweet and patient. We can't speak Japanese but they were very accommodating and could speak English. Would love to go back one day!
I went there with my good friends and everyone had so much fun creating their own pottery and learning how to use to the rokuro machine. They can accommodate you in both English and Japanese which was really helpful. They were also very nice and flexible, they taught us the basics and let us do what we want for the hand made pottery. I really love the place, it feels like home and the owners were so warm and welcoming. I would never forget the experience and will definitely go back next year. I highly recommend this place if you want to be creative and have fun with your family and friends.
It was raining cats and dogs but we really didn't want to miss our class in Fuwari pottery. They were really flexible and kind and we had an amazing time learning ceramic in the traditional Japanese way. I highly recommend Fuwari pottery if you are looking for a nice experience in Mashiko. They speak English and can ship your items to your country after finished for an extra cost which is a precious reminder of your lovely trip. Arigato Gozaimasu!
2人で手びねり体験。最初に作りたい物を工房内で見たり話したりですり合わせ。つきっきりで教えてくれるので初心者でも心配なし。駐車場が少し狭いので運転不慣れな人や大きな車は怖いかも。
初めての人でも丁寧に教えてくださいます。

友人と2人で陶芸体験をしました最初に土を2種類から選びました土によって同じ釉薬でも風合いが変わるそう色見本を参考に選びましたご夫婦で丁寧に優しく指導してくれます体験後はストーブで沸かしたお湯で手を温めさせてくれましたご夫婦共に陶芸家で、工房の隣の部屋で作品を販売されてます1点物の焼き物がずらりと並び目移りしてしまいました楽しい時間をありがとうございました！焼き上がりを楽しみにしています！
