a hidden gem on a quiet street, tucked away from the temple-going crowds. lots of beautiful handmade ceramics, glassware, stationery, and hand towels. the owner is so sweet and kind too!!! i was kinda shocked to stumble across a place like this in such a touristy part of town, i ended up going twice in my 4 days in kyoto and bought many ceramics and a washi notepad <3
Super experience!Second hand store with various beautiful souvenirs , very friendly japanese run this traditional shop which is 80 years old!Super recommended
Adorable ceramic bunnies caught my eye in this little Kyoto shop. The sweet older woman inside welcomed us and despite the language barrier, her kindness made the experience special. She carefully wrapped the bunnies and a small bowl I purchased, and everything made it home safely. 🩵Note: This shop is cash onlyVisited: April 3, 2025
Loved this shop! It has unique ooak ceramics, including a cute rabbit-themed section, and the lady at the counter was very nice and patient. Bought these two sweet sausages, hoping to visit again some day 💙
すっごくいい店です!! たまたまに見つけましたが、店員さんはすっごくすっごく優しくて、親切です。店員さんが売っている製品は全部ハントメイドで、可愛いです。きぬで作られた葉書と和紙を買いました。店員さんはいつも笑顔で話してくれましたし、優しい日本語を使ってくれました!! 京都戻るときに、絶対また葉書と和紙を買いに行きます!! どうもありがとうございました!✨🥰
For post card lovers, Craft Ichinenzaka is a hidden gem! Beautiful post-cards and hand-made pottery, paintings, ceramics, washi paper, envelopes, cards, tea cups, and kyoto trinkets. Shop owner is the cutest and walked us through our purchases - please visit when you can! I bought about 20 postcards hand-painted and hand-printed on kimono silk cloths. BEAUTIFUL PIECES. This is the type of place that needs to be supported and preserved!
골목을 지나가다 우연히 들어간 상점인데, 너무 귀여운 기념품들이 많았어요. 저는 한지로 만든 것 같은 네코 장식품과 작은 꽃 모양 수저받침대를 구매했습니다 제가 일어를 전혀 할 줄 몰라서 사장님이 답답하셨을텐데도 전혀 그런 기색없이 매우 친절하게 안내해주시고 포장도 해주셨어요 다음 번에 또 교토를 가게 된다면 들리고 싶어요
The lady at the counter was so nice! She explained to us that the cat painting on the washi paper cannot be rolled and wrapped it nicely.Really precious store.
