Amazing owner, products are hand made and he actually holds a patent apparently, so it was his original idea! he is also very kind and very friendly. the high end pieces take days to make by hand! great souvenir from japan or a gift!
Stopped in to buy one gift and ended up buying three because the items are unique and beautiful! Plus the shop owner was extremely helpful and kind- went above and beyond!
店内のすべての商品がまるで目を奪われる芸術作品のようでした。とても繊細で素晴らしいディテールが施されており、単品のカードを購入して自分だけの風景をカスタマイズすることもできます。店主の方はとても親切で、丁寧に商品を紹介してくださいました。笑顔も素敵で、さらにカードのプレゼントまでいただきました。京都に来たらぜひ訪れるべきお店です。本当にありがとうございました。
If you plan on buying Omoshiroi Block, this is the store in Japan with the biggest choice, including some Kyoto Specific versions you can only buy here. Very nice salesperson as well. Worth a visit!

Highly recommend! I visited this store last week with my sister who was studying abroad in Kyoto. The shop had so many cute and unique souvenirs to choose from. They would make the perfect gifts or mementos. The shop owner was also wonderful, so helpful, and very very kind. Wish him the best!

I stopped by the Yasaka branch and found a really nice selection of cute, unique souvenirs. The shop is small, but it was quite busy with both tourists and locals when I visited.The staff member was very friendly and informative. She’s a foreigner who speaks Japanese and English fluently and was also able to help customers in other languages, which made things much smoother in such a busy shop. She handled everything calmly and made the experience feel welcoming and easy.
