We had such a nice time at Mitch Mitchell. Vinyl choices were on point, the drinks were great and the bartender was kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this wonderful hidden gem!

Hidden gem - litened to Rolling Stone "Through the past darkly". We had a wonderful evening with 2 lovely girls from the Gold Coast , one Nga Tahu ex Bluff as it turned out.
This place is super charming and so much more interesting than so many of the dull or touristy places nearby. It’s up a single flight of stairs, upstairs from another cocktail bar that we also visited but which wasn’t as special.He has a wicked vinyl collection and makes tasty cocktails. My gin and tonic had a twist of lime around the lip of the glass for example. Little details that show he cares. My wife had a margarita which was perfectly balanced. A very cool spot with an indie Kyoto vibe.

Nous sommes tombés dessus par hasard et c’est l’un de nos meilleurs moments de notre voyage.L’endroit est encore méconnu des touristes donc garde complètement son authenticité, la carte est en japonais uniquement et paiement en espèces.L’hôte a été très accueillant et nous a préparé de délicieux cocktails - simples et sans prétention à un prix très raisonnable.Je recommande à 200% cet endroit pour boire un verre et vous éloigner des autres bars trop instagrammables

Fantastic! Cannot recommend this place enough. My boyfriend and I were looking for a cute spot to have a drink with our first day in Kyoto. With the menu being only Japanese, using Google Translate, I asked for a mixed drink that was sweet and with vodka and left the creative freedom to the bar tender. The music was also great. Cash only!
