Like a lot of cozy spots in Kyoto, but this felt a bit more intimate and attentive. Thank you, Shinzi Matsumoto, for being a gracious and friendly host for us travelers and wanderers, and wayfarers.
Very nice bar and a great host! Had a really nice time here, with a good selection of wines and whisky. Had a blast talking to the host, a great person who has two cute cats.
We had a lovely time at this small and super lovely wine bar, just a couple streets down from a super busy part of Kyoto. The owner was very friendly and sweet, and gave us some recommendations. I’d highly recommend the Highball.This place has some adorable cat-themed decor and can seat about 8 people, so it’s a very private and interactive experience.I’d definitely recommend this if you’re looking meet different types of people and have a fun and chill evening full of amazing wine and whiskey :)

ミードを飲み比べしました。接客も説明も丁寧で気持ちよく過ごせました。食事は食べてないので評価が分かりませんが、優しいお出汁の香りがしてほっとしました。
this is a FANTASTIC 6 seat bar serving up some of the best wine I’ve had in Japan. The owner was super welcoming and kind despite the fact that I didn’t speak much japanese and he didn’t speak much english. I would absolutely go out of my way to come here. The wine, the vibes, the cat decorations everywhere — it’s perfect!Note: It’s a little hard to find, but look for the white staircase and the sign leading up to the second floor!
🌟6つにしたいお店。ワインのチョイスもサーブの素晴らしさもさることながらマスターのお人柄がお店の素晴らしさに表れてます。そしてネコたちを救ってくれてありがとうございます。本当に良いお店に巡り会えた。
いつも京都に帰るとお世話になっているワインバーです。小さいけど、おしゃれで落ち着いて良心的なお店。
ディープな場所にあるワインバー。ワイン以外にもビールやハイボールがあります。何か落ち着く🎶

Wonderful local bar with multiple wine and sake choices! The owners were kind enough to teach us some Japanese while making us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend!
