What a cute mom-and-pop spot! It has a wonderful, nostalgic Japanese vibe while still being super welcoming to foreign visitors. My total bill was under ¥4,000 (less than $25 USD) for gyoza, sirloin skewers, and a classic glass-bottle Coke. I hunt for food deals constantly—both back home and here in Japan—and this was easily the most generous portion of meat I’ve had all year.Ignore the negative review before this; it honestly feels like a rival local trying to steer business away from a great spot.

No idea why the bad reviews. We came here for wagyu (Japanese beef) skewers three times during our stay in Kyoto. They taste better than the Kobe beef skewer. The meat is divine, and a much better price than other places. Do not skip this place! We also tried plum wine here, delicious.
The food was really tasty, especially the grilled skewers — freshly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. The place has a cozy and lively atmosphere, perfect for a casual night out with friends. I also enjoyed their sake selection. Would definitely visit again!💴 Spent around ¥3,000–¥4,000 per person.

Cash only!Food was good, but be mindful this isn't a super great Japanese restaurant. This is a good, standard meal. Nice burger, nice gyoza, nice team, but not anything amazing.Prices are on the higher side too so be mindful. 8,600 yen for 2 burgers, 2 beers and 6 gyoza. Would recommend in a pinch.
