井筒ホテル 京都高瀬川別邸の特徴
静かな高瀬川沿いで、観光やショッピングにも便利な立地です。
各階に一部屋のプライベート感があり、快適なバスルームが魅力です。
窓からは賑やかな四条通りが見え、活気ある雰囲気を楽しめます。
Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip, this was unfortunately the most disappointing. The setup is confusing — the main hotel operates out of a different building about a 10-minute walk away, and the “annex” (where we stayed) is a narrow, unstaffed building on a busy street. This made things difficult when our luggage was delivered to the main building, as we then had to wheel multiple suitcases through crowded nightlife areas to reach our room. When escorted by staff to the annex, we weren’t offered any help with our luggage, which felt unlike the level of service we experienced elsewhere in Japan.On the positive side, the rooms themselves were spacious — one of the largest we had in any city hotel — and the location is very central, surrounded by restaurants, bars, and nightlife. However, this also means it’s noisy, especially on weekends, so it may not suit families or those looking for a quiet stay.The biggest issue was the cleaning policy. Rooms are only cleaned once every four days, which felt excessive compared to other hotels’ two- or three-day schedules. We paid extra (around ¥1,600) for a mid-stay clean, but the service was poor — towels were replaced, but bathrobes were left crumpled on the bed, and the bathroom still had visible 'pink mould' that had been there since check-in.Overall, while the space and central location might appeal to younger travelers who want to be near the nightlife, the lack of cleanliness, confusing setup, and subpar service make it hard to recommend. We wouldn’t stay here again.
Spacious unit with a big bathroom.It feels very private since there is only one room per floor. I felt right at home with all the quality amenities: full-size fridge, comfortable bathtub, well-designed bathroom layout, and big cozy beds.We stayed on the 5th floor, the top floor, and it was mostly quiet. We didn’t hear any street noise, except on the last night when a nearby bar seemed to turn up the volume. Still, we had no problem sleeping at all.The location is great, surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and bars, but not overly crowded. You can also walk to nearby attractions or hop on the train easily.Loved this place! :)
6月17日～20日まで宿泊しました。客室、バスルームが広くオーバーヘッドシャワーもありました。下手なデラックスホテルより良かったです。木屋町通、先斗町エリアにあり、昼・夜ともに食事場所は選び放題でした。観光をするにも便利りで、次回も是非宿泊したいです。
The hotel is beautiful, clean rooms and is located right on Potoncho Street, which is perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action. However, there's a major issue: the rooms have absolutely no soundproofing. Potoncho is a very lively and noisy street, especially at night – people shouting, loud music, and partying until 6 a.m. made it impossible to get any rest.If they invested in proper soundproofing, this place could easily be a 10/10. But as it is now, I wouldn’t stay here again.
Really excellent location, and a lovely room with a big window overlooking the canal and bustling street.The staff were very also incredibly kind and helpful.This location is not specifically manned and each room has it's own floor, so it's nice and private, but the main building is only a short walk away if you need to stow luggage.I would definitely recommend staying here, and would love to go back.
도쿄의 옛정취가 느껴지는 거리에 인접한 최적의 숙소입니다.깨끗하고 조용합니다. 쇼핑과 관광에 편리하고 주변에 맛집도 많아서 교토에 다시오면 이숙소에 다시 오고 싶어요~.

Very nice hotel with a good location, short walk to everything. We had a small issue when we booked, but staff was great and took care of everything.Room is good and clean, nice bathroom.Will book here again if possible
