B&C MANIMANIの特徴

周辺には地元の食事処やスーパーマーケットがあり、非常に便利な立地です。
I had the most wonderful time at Yoko-san’s B&C ManiMani. The house is gorgeous, spacious and very clean. Yoko takes great care of her guests, always checking in to ensure you have everything you need. She also organises various activities for her guests - I participates in her father’s notebook making workshop, a beautiful tea ceremony as well as the most amazing workshop at a local Wagashi artist’s atelier. The location is perfect-plenty of busses and train/ subway stations within walking distance. Guests can also use bicycles, which is so helpful as Kyoto is super easy to navigate on bike. ManiMani felt like home and I loved it so much that I decided to extend my stay in Japan by a month just so I can stay there and enjoy everything that Kyoto has to offer. I would recommend a stay at Yoko’s place to anyone who values peaceful environments and culture.
J'ai eu la chance de pouvoir séjourner un mois et demi chez Yoko via Air bnb, et c'était le meilleur logement que j'aie pu avoir. Yoko est une hôte incroyable et gentille, dévouée, très présente, aux petits soins et à l'écoute. Elle parle bien anglais donc la communication était fluide. J'ai pu participer à plusieurs ateliers de confections de carnets traditionnels avec son père, et je ne peux que recommander à tout le monde de le faire également. Le logement est bien situé, au calme et loin des coins bruyants et touristiques. Les restaurants que Yoko recommandaient étaient tous fréquentés uniquement par des locaux, ce qui était génial (et ils étaient excellents !).
I recently stayed at Yoko-san's private guest house in Kyoto, and it was an exceptional experience. The house was immaculate, with so much attention to detail and fully equipped with everything you could need.The best part of my stay was Yoko-san herself. She was incredibly helpful in offering information on my Kyoto plans and was so knowledgeable about the local area. Yoko-san made my trip even more special by arranging a one-on-one workshop with a world-class local artisan pastry chef, which perfectly matched my interests. She even had a friend meet me at a station to accompany me on the bus system and translate for me, making the whole experience seamless and enjoyable.Her guest house is amazing and conveniently located near the transport network. There’s a supermarket and a department store on the corner, which was great for all my needs, and some really good local restaurants too.As a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Yoko-san's guest house to anyone visiting Kyoto. Thank you, Yoko-san, for making my stay so memorable!
It is a beautiful place where you can feel the true beauty of Kyoto, especially a warm hospitality by Yoko, the owner, is amazing exceeding your expectation!

Stop wasting your time searching and JUST BOOK IT! You will not regret it.B&C MANI MANI is the very best place to stay in all of Kyoto. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, Yoko-san provided me with the best hospitality I could have ever asked for.She was waiting for me on the street when my taxi arrived late at night and made time to walk be around the neighborhood. She helped me find special places to eat (local spots, not tourist spots), helped me with trip logistics, and truly went above and beyond in all aspects of hosting me.Her place is SPOTLESS- the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed.Even though the bathroom for the upstairs rooms is “shared” it feels like you have your own bathroom. The are two toilets (each with their own private door/room) and only two bedrooms, so typically each room gets a bathroom. So it is more like a private toilet and a shower that is shared with the other room. The downstairs room has a private bathroom within the room. Do not let the “shared bathroom” for the upstairs rooms deter you!There are bicycles that are free to use, and they were really the cherry on top of my stay. It was nice to get some exercise, while also having a convenient way to travel and see the area.The location was perfect- in a very local neighborhood with no tourists around, but close and easy to get to the busier/tourist areas if you wish.When considering the price, location, host, cleanliness, and accommodation, I think this is the BEST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED in my extensive travels around the world (I have visited 20 countries, spending about 1 month in each country on average).
