染殿井の特徴
京都御苑にある西陣五水のひとつ、歴史ある井戸の一つです。
井上頼寿の京都民俗志に登場する水源としても知られています。
帝国宮殿訪問の際に探すと楽しい隠れた魅力があります。

If you go the Imperial Palace in Kyoto, it’s a fun scavenger hunt to find the 3 wells and learn about their significance. Mostly it was a funny side quest for us but made our time on the palace grounds more fun!
