思った以上にとても良かったと評判の高い手芸教室です。
先日、アメリカ人の友人を連れて大人数でお世話になりました。丁寧に対応していただき、ありがとうございました。有松絞りについての歴史をとても分かりやすく教えていただき、勉強になりました。初めて本格的な絞りを体験することができ、とても楽しかったです。中学生の子どもたちやアメリカ人の友人も終始、大興奮でした！絞って染めて、ほどいたときのワクワク感は何ともいえないですね！貴重な体験をさせていただき、本当にありがとうございました！
My wife, myself, and 10 year old son did the basic Shibori class that focused on the bunching technique. It was awesome! We got to learn the traditional Shibori dying technique through this hands on class and leave with our own uniquely designed fabric. Highly recommend for anyone interested in fabric dying or traditional Japanese craft. Also learned about the history of Arimatsu and tried some homemade plum soda. After the class, Noriyo brought us by a shop and to one of her favorite sushi restaurants. Thanks for a great morning!

I had a WONDERFUL time before, during and after this shibori workshop. Etsuko-san and Noriyo-san did a fantastic job teaching and translating (into English). I think my T-shirt turned out beautifully — I selected the Tesuji shibori design and technique and am very happy with the results. I highly recommend coming to Suzusan in Arimatsu and enjoying a day in a shibori workshop. Well worth it and it included a wonderful Kaiseki lunch as well!!
日曜日のお昼過ぎに伺いました。手拭いの絞り体験をさせていただきました。最初に有松の歴史から説明してくださり、その後、布への下書き、絞り、染めの順に体験させていただきました。スタッフの方がとても丁寧かつわかりやすく教えていただいたので、そこまで苦戦することなく、楽しく体験させていただきました！最終的にとても満足するものができました。また、絞りの難しさを知ってから周辺の店舗を巡ると見え方が変わってきて、どのように作るのかなど、話題が尽きなくなるのでとてもおすすめです☺️ビギナーコースやマスターコースなど、段階もあるようなので、また行ってみたいです☺️
This class was really great! The teacher was very patient with my very basic Japanese and taught me all the needed techniques. We also dyed the work I made and I could take them with me right away. It was very informative and a great way to learn about Arimatsu Shibori.
Had such a lovely time here doing the basic workshop! Gorgeous relaxing setting and the teacher was very kind and accomodating.

I am very grateful that I was able to book a 1:1 workshop at very short notice. Noriyo is an excellent teacher with great passion for the history of shibori in Arimatsu. This is a must do experience with outstanding artisans. This is suitable for both beginners and experienced textile artists.
