私と アスメモ 石田 敦子 の上質なインプットの旅。広島を旅する感覚、番外編、大分、国東半島。レイチェル・ホワイトリード (イギリス)の「Kunisaki House」古民家の内部をコンクリートで型取った作品。BEPPU PROJECT が手掛ける国東半島カルチャーツーリズム推進事業の一環。ホワイトリードの国内初のサイトスペシフィック作品。日本初となる施工方法。玄関や居間、神棚と仏壇が横並びになった座敷などを型取り、この家の日常、地域特有の暮らし、そこに存在していた空気と気配に形を与え、永遠にこの場所に留めようとしている。国東半島の土着性のある文化と世界的な現代アートを邂逅したカルチャーツーリズムが文化度が高く、面白い。今回の大分の旅は、BEPPU PROJECTの「Kunisaki House」、坂茂さん建築の 大分県立美術館 OPAM 、大分出身の永遠のモダニズム「福田平八郎展」 、稲垣足穂や棟方志功 装丁の谷崎潤一郎 の古書からNews Picks 出版の新刊まで幅広く上質な質量を取り扱う「カモシカ書店 」 、大分から文化を発祥しようとするアートギャラリー「文ヶ学」 、などから大分人の文化の誇りを感じた。A high-quality input trip with me and Asumemo Ishida Atsuko @asumemo_atsuko.The sensation of traveling in Hiroshima, a special edition, Oita, Kunisaki Peninsula."Kunisaki House" by Rachel Whiteread (UK)A work made by casting the interior of an old house in concrete.Part of the Kunisaki Peninsula Cultural Tourism Promotion Project by BEPPU PROJECT @beppu_project.Whiteread's first site-specific work in Japan. 周辺のオススメ
予備知識なしでしばらく眺めていて古い木造家屋の梁や障子、床の間などの面影が見えてきた時は地味に感動しました。 否定的な意見もあるようですが、こういう感動は現代アートならではだと思います。
