There was a strong smell of urine near the public toilet. Since I needed to use the elevator and underground passageway located next to the toilet, I noticed that both the elevator and the passageway had an unpleasant odor and were very dirty, with stains everywhere. I visited Wakayama about 10 years ago, and I remember it being much cleaner back then compared to now.
