Great artist with very friendly family. Mr. Montano is a Filipino and his works are breathtaking. He has an art studio where he holds classes. Many of his young students have received awards for their work.

Beautiful works of art at a charming gallery in Nara. This artist has been featured on Japan TV and newspapers frequently. His works have a warmth, depth and detail that is pleasing to the eyes and soul. Definitely worth visiting. I've purchased three of his works through the years and if it wasn't for luggage space I'd buy more!
