The hospitality was unreal. We felt so welcomed and the food was amazing.We got dinner breakfast and a packed lunch for our hike.
Our hosts were warm, welcoming and friendly. We were shown where everything were. There's a large main room where you ate and listened to a mix of 60s music. The dinner provided was huge! Beds are comfortable. It was a little cold so they turned on the heater before we arrived. Very thoughtful. We would stay here again.
I’ll say this before I begin, if anyone gives this place anything less than 5 stars, please ignore that review because they’re completely wrong. The Service and Hospitality from Kaori Oba-San was nothing short of perfection. She was caring, loving and so very warm hearted. I can say I loved her like I did my own mother and aunty, because she made me feel at home, that warmth you get with this beautiful woman, you can’t find that anywhere else. Breakfast was filling and so very delicious, coffee, snacks, cold water and many more things. 5 stars doesn’t do her justice. 10 Stars from me, she broke my scale 👏🏼 I would live there if I could ❤️ P.S there’s a delicious fresh water river right next to you I’ve attached photos below 🤤 - Hani Husseinif you see this Oba-San 愛してる。
I arrived at Kodo-no-miyako completed soaked by the rain, but thankfully I was greeted by Kaori-san with immediate warmth and hospitality. My stay at Kodo-no-miyako was very comfortable and peaceful. The bedroom was clean and cool (perhaps the best A/C I experienced on the Kumano Kodo!) and the dinner was delicious. Kaori-san also accommodated me with grace and patience when I changed my morning departure time last minute to catch a bus. In just 30 mins she prepared both breakfast and lunch for me, both of which were tasty and healthy. The location was extremely convenient and close to everything including the trail, town (shout out to Cabelo coffee!) and the bus stop. Thank you so much Kaori-san!
What a great place to relax and unwind after a long days walk.Tanaka did a wonderful job taking care of me and my Vegan diet.I was blown away by her hospitality and care. This place is so spacious and clean/fresh/new.Also very close to the Komodo track, look out for the sign on the road. Memorable experience, highly recommend.

周辺のオススメ
One of the coziest and most peaceful guesthouses i have stayed in the recent years. The owner is very attentive and is there for all your needs, he even cooks dinner and provides guets with a very nice breakfasy. Highly recommended if your passing through Koguchi onhthe Kumano Kodo trail.
