The owner received us with great hospitality. This is a bungalow room with bunk bed, with bathroom outside but everything is clean and well maintainedIn summer guest can seat on the top of the bungalow to enjoy the view of the forestThe location is right on the TrailThe dinner is awesome !!!Hotpot, vegetable and sea foodWe also have a bag full of food for breakfast and lunch for the next dayThanks for the hospitality!!!
Stayed one night with my family. Clean and new accomodation. The hosts (an older couple) were amazingly helpful.Food was amazing with a huge spread of dishes for both dinner and breakfast.Free use of washing machine and dryer.Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay with our helpful and friendly hosts. The food was delicious and the hosts attentive. They went out of their way to help us.
Very clean, only bunk beds in our room, toilet in a different building, nice roof area to have a drink above the room, there is a cafe as part of accommodation so can get beers/snacks. It is a 15 min walk out of the main village, however is still on Kumano route so a great location. The absolute best part was the meal for dinner- it was incredible, tasty huge and such a beautiful experience! The people that run it are helpful and friendly and happy to use translation app to converse with you.
Absolutely sensationally great guest house. The hosts are friendly and kind. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. There was so much food we were unable to eat it all, good to give strength for the big walking day on the Kumano Kodo that follows a stay here. I need to say it again- the food is DELICIOU S 😀 The rooms are comfortable and have ample space. There is a washing machine and dryer that you can use, very helpful when you are on a walking trip. The guesthouse is located right on the Kumano Kodo, very convenient location. 10/10 recommend!
booked this guesthouse through Kumano Travel, not realizing I had discovered a hidden gem. Its location is directly connected to the Kumano Kodo trail, making it incredibly easy to find — especially after a long day of hiking.From the outside, the guesthouse looks modern and well-kept. Inside, the hospitality is just as impressive. The meals are of exceptionally high quality — beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. There’s truly no better place to rest and recharge after a day on the trail.Also, the resident Shiba Inu is adorable (though a little shy).
I stayed here for one night in April while walking the Kumano Kodo and despite being the only guest was treated like royalty by the owners, with a feast fit for a king. Breakfast and the Bento Box provided for lunch were also great. The room and facilities were clean and modern. Thoroughly recommend.
5/26住宿咖啡店在熊野古道路程中，訂了三餐。晚餐令人印象深刻 原形食物滿桌四鮮蔬菜菇菇湯、生魚片、烤香菇、焗烤海鮮花椰菜、蕃茄生菜、沙拉，還有飯後布丁，你一樣餐點都看得出主人家的用心，滿滿的愛，真是感動，感謝主人家招待。2樓有3間雙人房，廁所在公共區共用，洗澡在1樓，有洗衣機跟烘衣機（含在房費裡面），主人家會幫忙加好洗衣精。簡單乾淨的好住宿環境門口有害羞的柴犬第一次入住，覺得非常友善的店家，很推薦大家來住。因為隔天特早起，感恩老闆配合我們時間提供早餐。祝福老闆跟老闆娘 身體健康 平平安安。
I stayed by myself for one night in April. Though it cost quite a bit as I alone, but no regrets! The hosts were so lovely and the food was amazing! I was so full lol. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Just what you need after a long day of hiking.It was a steep trek uphill to get to the house but well worth it. You’ll see a cafe first which is run by the owner’s son.Kuu chan their Shiba was so cute although very shy.Absolutely loved staying here! Thank you for the hospitality!

This is a must stop for traveler’s hiking the Kumano Kodo. Our hosts were so wonderful and friendly. All 3 of our meals were incredible and they put so much care and effort into accomodating my vegan and gf dietary requirements. The house and room was clean, and had all the amenities you needed. They also included complementary snacks and drinks. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!
