Un mélange de chalet dans la montagne et de maison traditionnelle.De l'espace. Une belle vue et un air frais. Tous les équipements nécessaires. Un accès via une navette qu'il suffit d'appeler, approvisionnement au supermarché, bonne organisation. Parfait entre deux marches sur le kumano kodo !
Sharing this review for others who have this place booked for you via Kumano Travel.I had no contact before the day, and the Kumano info centre couldn’t help with the details, so we were prepared to use the pay phone at the Takahara rest area. As I was about to call, a van shows up at 3pm to collect us 👍 they seem to do the loop between the houses and the rest area between 3-5pm.The driver took us to a supermarket to buy dinner and breakfast. The house had a fully equipped kitchen (driver had photos of what’s available), so it was no problem to buy anything we wished.We had the whole house to ourselves. Set in beautiful countryside with plum trees, it was so quiet and relaxing.The next morning we were collected again and back to the supermarket to buy our lunch and snack supplies for the day.So it was all very easy in the end! The drivers didn’t speak much English but enough to communicate.It’s only a shame the houses are so far away from the trail.

Old house set in a beautiful rural area. Big issue was the cleanliness of the house: the obvious surfaces were clean, but there was a lot of dirt in the corners, on chairs and appliances. The toilet had old urine on it and the bathroom sink was also dirty in the middle. Proper deep cleaning seem to have been a while ago. One other downside is that the interior is quite old and some parts seemed up for renewal, such as curtains with holes.While everything else was fine, the poor condition would make us not choose this property again.
