留学進学を実現するために英会話を中心としたホームステイを約5ヶ月、毎週3日間宿泊をしました！初めは全く英語に慣れてなかったり、性格的にも自分から喋るのが難しかったのですが、だんだん空間的にも心地良く、ホストの方も優しい方だったので私の性格や考え方が、もっとオープンになり凄く周りから良い方向に変化したと言ってもらうことが多くなりました。毎回宿泊する度に、体がリラックスしているのを実感していました。バーベキューや美味しいお食事も堪能でき、想像より遥かに素晴らしい体験をさせてもらえました。英会話は沢山のいろんなやり方で、映画を観たり、ショッピングモールやスーパーに一緒に行ったりして日常生活に役立つ会話などを楽しんで学べたおかげで、留学進学も実現する事ができました！楽しい時間をホストの方と過ごせた日々は私にとって宝物です。
Lovely place with nice people, and beautiful nature while also being 20mins drive from downtown Kobe city!! Definitely a great place to getaway, relax and enjoy the mountain!
Only half hour from Kobe city. This home stay doesn’t only provide a place to rest my body. It is such a special experience which I enjoyed the life style in the Rokko mountain with Josh and Kimie. And it also heals my mind.
Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war wunderbar. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und sehr erholend. Japan ist bekannt seine hellen und bunten Stadt-Neonlichter. Aber hier, auf dem Rokko-Berg, sieht man eine etwas andere Seite von Japan. Die ruhige und gemütliche Seite.Ich würde das für Jedermann empfehlen. Ein kleines Juwel.
This lovely log home is a warm and welcoming place to stay on a visit to the Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto areas. The nearby tram will take you to the city. Or you can enjoy the natural beauty of Rokko Mountain though it's trails that offer hiking, cycling or climbing to see amazing vistas. A visit to the unique Music Box Museum was unexpected and delightful. Our stay was too short! We will definitely return to this house on our next trip to Japan.
I have stayed in this authentic log home 2 times. It is a unique experience not to be missed. The hosts are great, their home is beautiful, and the national park surrounds you. It’s nature at its best. It is also convenient to the tram to Kobe for exploring the entire Kobe/Osaka area and beyond.Highly Recommend This Location!
We had an amazing week at this Mt. Rokko gem! We were looking for a quiet, relaxing, rustic setting and this cozy log cabin fit perfectly. We had everything we needed as a home base to tour Kobe, Osaka and the countryside. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee as we listened to birds as the peaceful sun rose over the mountain. Our daily nature hikes in the fresh air were uplifting. We loved the efficient kitchen as well. We had excellent meals at a local Inn and were happy to return to the comfort of our log cabin after a day of touring the city. From the lights of Kobe and Osaka to the beautiful stars, the views completed our experience. We are already planning our next visit!
I stayed 3 nights in August 2024. The experience was incredible. The house is spacious and surrounded by nature, but only 30 minutes away from Kobe city. It is great place to get away from the city for some peace and quiet. Also, the weather at night was cool enough that there was no need for a fan.

夏休みに小学校1年生の息子と娘と一緒に、１０日間ほど滞在しました。温かいホストご夫妻と一緒に過ごした日々は、私たちにとって宝物となりました。帰路で娘が「ママ、今からUターンして六甲山戻ろうか」とつぶやいたり、帰宅してから息子が「ママ、なんでだろう？悲しくないのに涙が出るんだ」と言ったり。子どもたちにとっても大好きになったホストご夫妻と過ごした六甲山での日々が、かけがえのないものになったという証だと思いました。立地がよく近くに遊ぶ場所もたくさんあり、毎日お出かけを楽しむことができました。牧場・自然公園・有馬温泉・淡路島・動物園・科学館・秘境での川遊びなど。また、虫取りやハイキングコースの散策・六甲山の夜景・うさぎやニワトリのえさやりなども楽しめました。もちろんゆったり過ごすのもいいと思います。子連れママにもオススメの環境ですよ。子どもたちは様々なアクティビティーを楽しむことができますし、美しい自然に囲まれた居心地のいい場所でママも心のリフレッシュができますよ。こちらでの英語でのコミュニケーションがきっかけとなり、子どもたちが英語に興味を持ち始めたことも、個人的には大満足でした。ゆるりとした国内留学の場として訪れるのもいいかと思います。本当にありがとうございました。
