I’m born and raised Cuban who now lives abroad and when I saw this food cart I was immediately happy to see it. First of all the sandwich is one of the best I’ve had. And I have had a lot of them. Que rico. The beer is cold and the conversation with Valo is amazing. Thank you Valo for reminding me of home. Un abrazo hermano.
SO GOOD.We were headed down to the lake to go on a boat and spotted this van. The food and service were incredible. We loved how friendly the owner was. Wish I took a picture of the food but it looked too good to waste time!

Pedimos un sándwich cubano con papas fritas, tostones y dos Cuba Libre… y honestamente, fue exactamente lo que esperabamos.La comida estuvo increíble—auténtica, llena de sabor y hecha con amor. Excellent Cuban sandwiches, lakeside. Probably the best I've had in Japan and even in Florida. The mojitos are outstanding! Come grab a bite and relax by the lake. You won't be disappointed.
河口湖湖畔散歩中にキューバサンドという珍しいフードに惹かれて立ち寄ってみましたメニューも色々あり鹿肉サンドを購入トマトベースの酸味とピリ辛エスニックなソースが鹿肉と凄く合っていて美味い鹿肉もまったく臭みがなくパンもカリッとしていて滅茶苦茶美味かった。
We're staying at the Fuji Lake Hotel and this is a Cuban sandwich truck right around the corner, right by the Lake itself. We were craving a veggie sandwich and the owner/chef was kind enough to make one for us even though it was not on the menu. Best veggie/grilled cheese and fries I've had in a while, fresh and seasoned perfectly
If you are in the area, this is a must stop and get! The sandwiches are incredible! And the Mojito’s are spot on. It was a pleasure to meet the owner, and get to know him. Definitely will be coming back for more of the food and conversation!

I saw this food on Instagram and knew I had to come and try it for myself. The cuban sandwich tasted so good and so did the tostones!! Valo was such a nice guy! Very friendly and we were able to have a good chat in Spanish. If you see this truck you need to stop and try!!!
