amazing food and the friendliest staff 🤩 had the curry set with garlic and cheese naan, and it overflowing with cheese 🤤 the chicken tikka masala is honestly one of the best i’ve ever had, butter chicken was also really good.the tandoori chicken wasn’t dry, it was juicy and tender (chefs kiss)lassi wasn’t overly sweet, and the dessert — i’m assuming a mango lassi, came with mango bits.having come from a country where indian food is abundant, this was great!! better than al-amin (iykyk)
The best curry I've ever had, It was smooth and creamy with the perfect level of spice. The biggest garlic naan I've ever seen before (and the tastiest!!) I had the Butter chicken with garlic naan and it was sooooo good. Food for the soul. The staff were really kind and even checked on us asking if we were enjoying the food. Best curry in the world. YOU MUST eat here if you're staying in kawaguchiko!!!!! 🍛 😁
Discovered this place by chance as it was location right infront of our hotel, it actually became a true gem for my husband and I! As halal food are limited in fuji and that most shops around fuji closes as early as 5pm, I was glad that Taj Fuji closes as late as 9pm for us to catch dinner. But I was mind blown with how delicious the food actually taste! This place is easily one of the best indian food I have ever taste! We ordered the tandoori set that comes with tandoori chicken, rice, naan, salad and choice of curry and drink. We opt for butter chicken curry and top up for mango lassi. Less to say, we devoured everything within seconds! The butter chicken curry is soo good, so buttery and perfect. The tandoori chicken instantly melts in our mouth, it was truly smooth and juciy! The mango lassi was purely mango, just what we wanted. And the naan, was really nice. The best food we had in Fuji!
Usually almost perfect review scores on Google is an exchange if complimentary food or discount, yet this place is a real deal.I hope they can go have a branch restaurant in Taipei. This Tandoori Chicken is a spiritual experience.And the Seekh Kebab, and their curry.And the spacious dining area, and their comfy terrace.And above all incredible cozy and warm, family style.(And nice pricing too.)
Good customer service with parking conveniently available right at the site. The restaurant has ample seating.The food was delicious, especially the Nan super soft and fluffy! Oh not to mention, their dal tadka was super tasty too.They also offer kids’ meals, which is a great bonus for families. Service was quick and the premises were quite clean.They have “halal” mentioned on their board, and hopefully it’s truly halal 🙈.The masala tea was creamy and aromatic 👌🏼, the dessert kheer was very good with nice hints of saffron and coconut.Overall, a pleasant dining experience and definitely worth trying. 👍

Excellent customer service and great food! We were in Fujikawaguchiko and craving Indian food after a while, so we found this place on Google. The menu is extensive, and we visited during lunchtime, so we ordered the chicken and vegetable curry lunch sets with mango lassi and chai. We also added samosas on the side. I had no idea the portions were huge, so I ordered an extra naan — but the food was so good that we ended up finishing everything anyway.The owner greeted us personally and even took our order. We had a lovely little conversation — truly such warm, kind people. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience here!Service was excellent - food came quickly and waiters were very attentive - ie bringing water right away when they noticed it was running low, clearing tables quickly and offering advice on the menu. We asked for some chutney and he brought a large serving of it and kindly packed our left over food as well.The food was excellent. We ordered the tandoori platter, mutton biryani, samosas and chicken masala curry. The portion size was generous and each dish was fresh and flavourful. You could tell a lot of effort was put into each dish - even the chutney and ritai that came as a side dish were exceptional.Apparently it’s only been opened for 3 months so this is a very strong showing. Food is halal as well! Wish them the best!
