Absolutely amazing experience at Beef-Tei in Kyoto! The Wagyu beef was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavour – you can genuinely taste the quality. I had the ramen with thick slices of beef and it was rich, comforting and perfectly seasoned. The burger was just as impressive – juicy patty, melted cheese, soft toasted bun, and crispy wedges on the side. Everything was cooked beautifully.The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt cosy but modern. It’s only a minute from Kyoto Station which makes it super convenient, but it still feels like a hidden gem.
Unexpectedly was invited in to try their Wagyu cheeseburger! It was delicious and the staff was very kind. The location was tucked away in a hidden alley but its seclusion was a good sign! We’ll definitely be back as the burger was super juicy and well balanced. They even accommodated to my friend who is dairy free! Super kind people & excellent food.
Everyone should definitely try this place at least once! The wagyu beef steak literally melts in your mouth. The wagyu burger was just as impressive, the bun had a nice light crunch, and the patty was incredibly tender and flavourful. Even the fries were perfectly done and delicious.Highly recommended if you’re looking for halal wagyu. The staff were super friendly specifically the one who served us Takumi (apologies if I spelled it wrong 😅) and able to converse in English, which made the experience even better. Truly one of those rare, too-good-to-be-true dining spots! 💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️

Wirklich gutes Essen. Ich muss zwar dazu sagen, dass ich bisher nichts vergleichbares gegessen habe, dennoch wurde ich positiv überrascht und überzeugt. Würde ich hier wohnen und nicht nur als Tourist Japan besuchen, dann würde ich auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.Das Essen kam schnell.Die Kellnerin war nett und kann englisch.Von der Kyoto Station leicht zugänglich.Was will man mehr als durchschnittlicher Tourist?

Essen war gut, aber nicht umwerfend. Wir hatten 2 Burger bestellt. Die Pommes die man dazu bekommt sind glaube ich aus der Tiefkühltruhe und recht wenige. Soweit so gut.Der Preis dafür ist aber echt happig. Wenn man vergleicht findet man mit Sicherheit günstigere Optionen für Wagyu in Kyoto.Außerdem war das Ambiente wirklich nicht schön. Wenn man Wagyu essen geht und etwas mehr Geld in die Hand nimmt, sollte es sich auch so anfühlen. Allerdings sah es eher aus wie ein Schnellimbiss. Es gab z.B. nur Plastikbecher.Außerdem war es nicht so sauber, wie man es sonst in Japan gewohnt ist. Ich will nicht übertreiben, wir hätten ja sonst nicht dort gegessen, aber z.B. der Tisch sah nicht aus, als wäre drübergewischt worden (waren 1, 2 Flecken drauf).Insgesamt würde ich empfehlen, lieber in ein anderes Wagyu Restaurant zu gehen.

Our first time in Kyoto and the experience here was splendid! The service from start to finish was seamless and they helped explained the menu and history of the business well. They explained the difference between Gold and Platinum. Ami and Shuta were really helpful and kind. The food was amazing and the beef melts in your mouth! Even sent us off to the door when we were leaving. Will definitely come back if another time awaits!

I believe this is related to cost and margin considerations. Drinks should be included with the meal and not charged separately.品質とても良くて柔らかいお肉で、完璧に調理されており、口の中でとろけます。雰囲気居心地が良いです。待ち時間ステーキの提供時間は約30分で、妥当でした。接客とても良いサービスでした。改善点支払っている価格を考えると、ソフトドリンクが共有ボトルから1杯のみの提供という点には納得できません。この価格であればステーキの品質が高く高価であることは理解できますが、ドリンクが1杯のみで、ボトル提供もなく、おかわりもないのは不十分だと感じます。これはコストや利益率の都合だと思われますが、ドリンクは食事に含まれるべきであり、別途計算されるべきではないと思います。
