Excellente adresse. La chambre typique japonais est très belle et très agréable. Les toilettes sont sur le palier. L’emplacement est très agréable avec le beau canal juste devant et pratique pour visiter la ville. Le propriétaire Mr Yuhara est au petit soin (attention cependant à ne pas être trop oppressant). Merci pour ce séjour.
L'accueil de Hirokatsu est d'une gentillesse et d'une méticulosité rare. La maison est belle, au bord d'un petit canal. Le lieu est très tranquile. Les chambres sont traditionnelles: tamamis et futons. elles sont assez grandes, lumineuses et très confortables. C'est une excellente adresse
Tout était parfait 🥰 M. Yuhara est d'une gentillesse infinie et nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce bel endroit, bien situé dans un cadre bucolique et très calme.Les chambres sont magnifiques, traditionnelles avec tatamis, futons et mobilier japonais. Il y a également la clim, très appreciable par grandes chaleurs.Les sanitaires sont propres, le bain japonais est à essayer, nous avons adoré cette petite expérience 😁Il y a quelques règles à respecter qui relèvent du bon sens et permettent de conserver cet endroit dans un état impeccable, ce qui n'est absolument pas genant.En bref, nous reviendrons c'est sur 😍
I first went to Yuhara when the current owner's father and mother ran the ryokan. I was a student visiting Kyoto for the first time.Since then, I have been back several times. In January (2019), I brought two of my students to Kyoto. It was the first time they stayed in an authentic ryokan. Well, it is not quite like most ryokans because breakfast is not served. Not a problem! I don't like fish.(Can you believe someone who has visited Japan numerous times doesn't like fish??) ||The current owner is extremely friendly. He speaks Japanese and maintains the inn just like his parents did. The rooms look like they have just been built. Everything is spic and span. It is located not far from Kyoto Station and a subway. In a word, it is very well located. It faces a small canal and a small, quiet street. Mr. Yuhara has plenty of maps and advice for you if it is the first time you've visited Kyoto. You won't be dissapointed if you stay at the Yuhara!
We've been to Kyoto twice, once in winter and once in spring. Stayed here both times. In a country of friendly people, the mother and son team who run this in and have done so for decades is one of the friendliest. It's maintained in immaculate condition and is right outside the beautiful takasegawa(spelling?) canal. Opening my window in the morning to the sight of the Sakura trees in full bloom is something I will never forget.Some practical considerations - showers are on the 2nd floor and there is a 11pm curfew most of the time (it was lifted the time we stayed over NYE so we could stay out and experience the festivities). But this place is incredible value for money and the Yuharas are amazing friendly people so please do yourself a favour and stay here next time you go to Kyoto.
Nous avons passé 4 nuits chez Yuhara dans une grande chambre traditionnelle, avec tout confort (dossiers pour s'asseoir par terre mais chaises à l'occidental aussi :-) ). La famille est accueillante et donne beaucoup d'informations. Douche et wc au même étage. Le quartier est calme à côté d'un petit canal, très charmant, un peu éloigné du centre ville mais accès facile en bus et métro. Le ryokan est très confortable et d'un bon rapport qualité prix.
We stayed here for 5 nights recently. We were warmly welcomed and thoroughly shown around the Ryokan. The rooms are traditional futons on tatami mats. There is no food available and the closest grocery store is about a 15 minute walk away. However the location is beside a canal and in a very quiet neighborhood. Easy access from the train station by any one of three buses (205, 4 , or 17) and easy access by these same buses to most sites in Kyoto.
Ottima sistemazione per visitare Kyoto, il ryokan è raggiungibile dalla stazione centrale in 15 minuti a piedi o in autobus poichè c'è una fermata nella strada parallela. Le stanze sono molto spaziose, pulite e in stile giapponese. Staff molto gentile e disponibile, i più cordiali che io abbia incontrato tra i 9 hotel e ryokan in cui ho soggiornato nei miei due viaggi in Giappone. La zona è tranquilla e silenziosa. Il bagno è in comune ma è molto pulito. Consiglio questo kyokan a tutti!
Ryokan très beau et très confortable.Chambre japonaise typique avec tatamis et futon. Il est très bien placé (10 min à pied de la gare et 10 min en bus du centre ville) et au calme. Jolie vue des chambres sur un petit canal, douche commune et salle de bain commune traditionnelle. Accueil chaleureux. On le recommande pour s’initier au Ryokan traditionnel dans cette jolie ville qu'est Kyoto. Seul petit point négatif, il faut être de retour à 23h.

周辺のオススメ
On a adoré notre séjour au Ryokan Yuhara. Le lieu est beau, typique et bien entretenu. Le propriétaire est aux petits soins et on découvre un petit peu la longue histoire du lieu. Ça fait partie intégrante de notre super séjour à Kyoto. Pour les aspects plus pratiques il est très bien situé proche de la gare et des quartiers centraux , et les prix sont très corrects. Ne surtout pas hésiter à y aller, merci à la famille Yuhara !
