One of the best university accommodations to stay for Master’s or PhD at Tokyo Tech.
The facility itself is good with a drying machine, 2 fire stoves and the basic necessities. The individual rooms are a bit small and with 4 people it can be a very packed space.The place is about 20-25 mins walk form the nearest station. But there are many department, grocery stores and a big park near by with a basketball court and a tennis practice wall.There is also a public tennis court close by.I wish they had units for only 2 people.
Although this dormitory is far from the nearest train station (Nagatsuta Station), it is close to home center (Super Viva Home), cheap supermarket (Big Yosun, OK-store), and restaurants with affordable prices (Kura-sushi, shabu-yo, Bambino, Saizeriya, Gusto).Tokyo Institute of Technology also provides a free shuttle bus for Suzukakedai Campus, but only 3 (three) rides in the morning. In the evening, from Suzukakedai campus to Nagatsuta House, there are another 3 (three) rides too.Each unit consists of 4 (four) private rooms and a shared living room with common facilities such as a kitchen, shower room, fridge, washing and drying machine, and microwave.

Why no 1 cmt useful? Lemme do that:Google map not correct. Near 3 important stores: OK store (supermarket), Yamada denki, Daiso. Quite far from station. Uni bus available in study day (Uni schedule). Time: 7h20,8h20,9h to Uni; 18h30,19h30,20h45 back, ~10 min. 30-40 min walk to Uni, no bicycle to Uni allowed, but bicycle to other OK :). As today, utilities fee fixed, but penalty if over use (never seen). Each week, all 4 students separate cleaning 4 common areas, rotate next week. Small clothes dryer available. Balcony 45 degree to sun. Some (G) have shared balcony, some separate. Balcony in lowest floor quite... easy to steal. Next to temple/shirne (ghostbuster :) ). Bath area small, around 2 adults. Other info found on official website, else = no important
