We went for breakfast and was really happy at all the different choices/options on the menu. If you're staying at Yugen, this is a must to pass by.
ホテルである『yugen kyoto shijo』の中にあるモダンで落ち着いた内装のレストラン。河原町や烏丸など利便性の高い駅や観光地からも近く、周りの街並みには京都らしさを感じることができます。ランチはビュッフェ+スープ+選べるメインの料理。リーズナブルに京都の食材を使ったお料理も味わえます！パスタや鮮魚料理は日替わりで、ご来店の際に説明してくれます。ビュッフェはサラダ、一品物、パン、デザートなどバランス良く選べます。ワインを頂きましたが、ワインはもちろんほかのドリンクもしっかりとしたラインナップ！特にメインで頂いた本日の鮮魚料理と京丹波もち豚肩ロースのグリルはお肉や魚の火入れはもちろん、ソースや付け合わせも含めて絶品でした！モーニングからバータイムまで営業しており、時間を選ばず楽しめるところもいいところ！今度は外観や内装もオシャレなので雰囲気の変わるディナーでも伺いたい。まだできて間もないレストランらしいですが、京都に来た際にはもう一度足を運びたくなるレストランです。
The wife and I took a break from Japanese food during our time in Kyoto. While this spot has few reviews, it surpassed our expectations, and is even better than some Italian food we’ve had in Italy. We’d highly recommend the snow crab pasta. The bolognese rigatoni was also yummy. The French onion soup was a little on the sweet side. The Caesar salad was different from the usual, it had onions, tomatoes, peppers. So we were skeptical but it worked, it was well balanced. Overall, I’d highly recommend Arbrin.Warning- when they brought us the bill, it was all in Japanese. We translated it and saw that they charged us ¥1000 for all you can eat bread. We were surprised by this as usually bread is free at other places that we’ve gone to in the past. The bread was good but ¥1000 is still a lot.
The carpaccio was amazing
The food and service were great! It was not very busy and the interior was spacious, which was really calming.
Stumbled across this place tonight whilst looking for somewhere very relaxed to enjoy a bowl of pasta and it was perfect. We had carbonara, bolognese and a Caesar salad. Food was delicious. Service was lovely. Atmosphere was exactly what we needed after a busy 2 weeks in Japan. Felt like we could relax like at home.
賑やかな通りから少し入った閑静な場所に佇む上質なホテルの１階。平日の昼時に予約してから伺いましたので混雑もなく落ち着いて談話と食事を楽しめました。食事はボリュームもあり満足。おすすめできる穴場でした。
Kobe beef absolutely melts in your mouth with a perfect outside sear and tender inside!Food and staff are fantastic!Agree with previous reviewer the lights could be dimmed to create a more romantic atmosphere but food and service were top-notch!

平日のランチで利用しました。ホテル「YUGEN Kyoto shijo」の1階にある、モダンで落ち着いた雰囲気のレストランです。ランチビュッフェは好きなメイン料理を1品選べて、サラダや冷製オードブル、温かい料理、パン、手作りデザートなど30種類以上が食べ放題。今回は・厚切りベーコンのカルボナーラ・リガトーニ・ボロネーゼ・牛サーロインのグリルをいただきました。特にサーロインはやわらかく、粒マスタードと赤ワインのソースがお肉の旨みを引き立てていて美味しかったです。平日限定の事前予約プランなら、通常2,780円のところ税込2,280円で利用でき、コストパフォーマンスも良いと感じました✨京都河原町周辺で、女子会やゆっくり楽しめるホテルランチを探している方におすすめです。
