We stayed at Hanamichi House in October and it was an absolutely amazing stay! It’s within walking distance to many temples and shrines, a 7 eleven is a short walk down the street, nearby to a popular shopping district, and situated right by the river that made everyday surreal. We saw the beautiful Maiko walking by everyday which was something we loved. The house was spacious and had everything we needed from towels, a kitchen, 2 toilets, and a washing machine. Granted we spent more time exploring than in the actual room it was more than accommodating and a wonderful place to call home during our short visit. I highly recommend Hanamichi house for anyone wanting to live a Kyoto dream. 💛
