Old house, so it comes with charm, quirk, retrofitting and disrepair. Very cool, but you have to be patient and accept it for what it is. It's rustic.The following list is not necessarily a criticism, but it is something to be aware of, depending on the length of your stay.-7ft ceilings, 5.5 foot doorways.-2 bedrooms, 4 floor beds (futons)-toilet/badet with toilet paper-light bulbs didn't all work, but I found some replacements under the sink.-the freezer ice maker will intermittently throw a code and cause the beeper to sound. The only way I could get it to stop was to unplug the fridge for 5 seconds and then plug it back in again. I tried putting some water around the sensor lines but it didn't seem to solve the problem permanently.-I also couldn't get the hot plate to work. It would turn on when I plugged it in but the with no result.-front door knob will come off if you're not careful. I retightened the set screw but someone tried to glue it on and the glue is preventing the set screw from going into the hole correctly. So be gentle with it, as the sign says.
