I had a delightful experience that truly exceeded my expectations. The private atmosphere made the tea ceremony feel intimate and special, perfect for sharing with friends. The staff were exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing our enjoyment of every detail. The matcha was rich and delicious, perfectly complemented by the wagashi sweets which were a real treat. This was only my second tea ceremony, but I can confidently say it won’t be my last! I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone looking to dive deeper into Japanese culture.
Excellent experience! We had a wonderful time during our private tea ceremony. We got to put on kimonos, learn the history of matcha and how it is harvested and then participate in a tea making ceremony and enjoy some mochi. Would recommend to anyone and it is very near Nijo Castle
J’ai participé à ce cours de matcha toute seule, et c’était une expérience incroyablement apaisante et intime 🍵Sachi a été très bienveillante et attentionnée, elle a pris le temps d’expliquer chaque geste de la cérémonie du thé avec beaucoup de douceur.Je me suis sentie à l’aise dès le début, comme dans une bulle hors du temps.Un moment calme, authentique et profondément culturel que je recommande, merci pour ce moment 🌿🤍

抹茶体験をさせていただきました。非日常を経験できました。京都らしい裏路地にあり、お店の雰囲気もとても良かったです。オーナーが若くてイケメンです。
京都に行ったついでに予約サイトで見つけて訪問しました。人生で初めてお茶体験をしましたが素晴らしい空間で素晴らしい体験をさせていただくことができました。二条城付近にあるので、人気になって流行る前に行かれることをおすすめします。SNSで告知されるとバズりそうだと思いました。オーナーさんも爽やかで気持ちの良い接客をしていただきました。ありがとうございました！

初めての茶道体験でした🍵お茶の種類や作法の説明から丁寧に教えていただいて、実際に自分でお茶をたてていただくこともできました。和菓子も出て、とても上品で美味しかったです✨静かな空間で心が落ち着く時間でした☺️
I visited during my trip to Kyoto!There are many tea ceremony experiences in Kyoto, but I chose this one because it offers a private space just for us in a beautiful, traditional Japanese-style building.It feels luxurious yet the staff are so friendly that you can enjoy the tea ceremony with peace of mind.It became a wonderful memory for us, and I’ll definitely come again!Since it’s by reservation only, I highly recommend booking in advance.

I joined the hands-on matcha-making experience, and it was so much fun!The instructors were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. (both English and Japanese) If you’re planning to visit the Nijo Castle area — or even if you’re not — I highly recommend stopping by. It’s a wonderful way to learn more about matcha and experience it in an authentic and engaging way.
