100% recommend Akira and his service as a guide, we were well cared for and had the opportunity to experience many things over the 2days that we would never gave know about. We were also shown many different paths away from the blue line, down quiet back roads and tucked away bars and restaurants. Akira was also very conscious about our different abilities on the bike.Will go back again, probably a few more days as there are so much more to see an do around the area. Great experience !!!Last abril I reserved a one day trip to Shimanami Kaido and was lucky to meet Akira (guide) and Hiroki (bike renting).Both of them were very profesional, flexible and very helpful , which made this an exceptional experience.I am no experienced biker, but I got to know part of the Shimanami Kaido with great views, good food and had a lot of fun during the whole day.A very recommendable experience.
This is one of Japan’s hidden gems. It’s a Mecca for cyclists. Spectacular views in every direction and amazing infrastructure to give great access by bike, foot or car. Known as the Mediterranean of Japan this area has citrus groves and a lot of cool artists and architecture types who’ve gone there for the tranquility and nature as I did too. There are pilgrim routes, great food, craft beer, stunning pottery and it’s worth going just for the orange juice!Akira San is one of the nicest guys and best guides you’ll ever meet. Sensational company on a bike ride. Thanks Akira San!As Arnie would say... "I'll be back!"
En bra och trevlig guide som kommer hjälpa dig hela vägen med bokning/hyrning av cyckel och planering av resan. Han stod för maten vid lunch och middag samt eventuella båt transporter under min resa med han. Han är bra på engelska men den brister emellanåt vilket påverkar guidningen negativt. En oväntad kostnad uppstod under mina två dagar med han och det var att jag fick stå för hans boende vid övernattning. Det gjorde mig inget men är bra att veta.
