We really enjoyed a wonderful Day-tour with Mari / Miyako … she avoided the cowded spots and led us to beautiful Shrines, Temples and Garden. We had a wonderful experience with Max from Miyako From Japan and highly recommend him! We spent several days exploring Kyoto with him. Max is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Japan, knows Kyoto in and out, and can adapt his tours to the preferences of his clients even when they are conflicting (think: teenagers vs. parents! ;). Max took us to the must-see sites but also to a number of less known sites that were pure wonders that we would never have discovered without him and were almost empty when we visiting them. The experience was amazing. We also did a cooking lesson with him. It was real fun and totally delicious. Thank you Max for making our Kyoto trip such an unforgettable experience!
Mari from Miyako from Japan saved our vacation. Another company failed and Mari took over. She organized tours and transfer and it was a pleasure knowing everything would be taken care of. I would 100 percent recommend this Company!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time with Mari! First we did calligraphy and then she showed us an awesome ramen place and afterwards she took us to local temples away from all the crowds. She was very warm and friendly and even helped me find some medicine I was looking for! I’d highly recommend Mari if you want a fun experience!
Mari entertained my spouse and I through a memorable calligraphy lesson, lunch in a lively locals spot, to many beautiful cultural spots across Kyoto. Mari was extremely friendly and flexible and willing to work with us to make the best day possible! Highly recommend !
Mari is very well connected in the city of Kyoto and was extremely helpful in booking the experiences I wanted when in Kyoto, including lunch with Geisha and outstanding historical tours. Would definitely use her again.
Mari was very attentive and helpful. She responded promptly, and helped us arrange a truly unique and wonderful experience. We started off dressing in kimono, and we walked on a tour through Gion with stops for pictures. We then took a very enjoyable rickshaw ride. Finally, we walked to a private teahouse in Gion, where we had a delicious dinner, and met with a lovely and talented maiko, who informed us that she would be graduating to geisha in a few months. she performed dances accompanied by a wonderful musician, and we were taught several fun games that are traditionally played. Mari translated throughout, and made sure our experience was truly wonderful
I really recommend Miyako from Japan. They do an amazing job at creating the best experience for you 🤗! Very professional, flexible, and personalised (unlike the big tour group). Best way to discover Japan ! ⛩️

Mari and Gus were wonderful! They were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was like we were being shown around by family friends and not a tour agency. Highly recommend!
