Working with Eitan at Clear Echo on the production of Bending the Bars, an album by incarcerated artists, was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Eitan brought his incredible skill at both mixing and mastering to this project that came with built in challenges. Most of the 16 tracks were recorded over the jail phone lines, and Eitan masterfully engineered those compromised vocals resulting in a high quality professional mix while still keeping it clear to the listener that this was recorded over jail phone lines. With 15 artists and a wide range of styles he brought his deep understanding of music to this project to honor each style while also bringing a sense of cohesion to the album as a whole. Eitan is very responsive, communicates clearly, delivers results in a timely manner, and respects the vision of the artists. I highly recommend Clear Echo to anyone wanting high quality mixing and mastering and enjoying the process along the way!
I recently worked with Clear Echo to provide audio support for a live rock band show. Eitan was fantastic to work with from start to finish and provided top notch audio expertise. Eitan is an outstanding engineer and is very easy to work with. He's very efficient, innovative, and committed to perfection, but he's also keenly aware of the musician's needs and is able to flex as the creative process requires. He nailed my bass sound without any adjustments required and is overall just a super nice guy!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Eitan on a large recording project in Tokyo, and he was critical to the success of the recording. He was the primary audio engineer, mastering engineer and liaison between the Japanese studio and the American musicians. Eitan at Clear Echo Sound brought more to this project than I could have imagined or hoped for. It starts with the technical skill. He's a master of sound--The guy built much of the equipment he uses! But Eitan is also an incredible artist and talent himself, and so he was able to add an element to the recording process that went far beyond the technical side. He was, in essence, an artistic partner, adding--but never more than appropriate--to the meaning and impact of the piece on which we were working. His voice work and the attention to detail in the recording and editing brought my story to life in a way I never could have accomplished on my own or with someone who was just a sound expert. When you add to that the commitment to communication--Eitan is a quick, thorough, and engaged correspondent--as well as Eitan's calm, positive presence and genuine goodness as person, you have everything you could need or want on a project.
私は神奈川県に住んでいるドラマー、作曲家です。Clear EchoのエンジニアであるEitanと初めてお仕事させていただいたのは、かの有名な青葉台スタジオでした。アメリカ人のピアニストの依頼で、絵本を題材にしたラジオドラマのようなもののBGMの制作でした。その現場はサックス、ファゴット、エレキベース、ギター、ドラム、ハープや合唱まで、ありとあらゆる奏者が次から次へと入れ替わる大変な現場だったのですが、時間がない中見事に場を回して、屋号通りの「クリアな」サウンドで録音したのが印象的でした。出来上がったミックス、マスタリングは絶妙なバランス感覚で、彼がアメリカ人とイスラエル人のハーフで、どんな音楽ジャンルにも人一倍敬意と理解、そして愛情を持って接しているのが分かりました。それからいくつか自分の周りの制作をお願いしたり、彼から仕事をもらったりしました。優れたエンジニアというのは、クライアントが気持ちよく制作すること、そしてイメージしている音楽をよく理解して、上手にコミュニケーションをすることだと思います。彼に制作を手伝って貰えば、間違いなく良い作品に辿り着けます。あと、彼はケーブルも自作していたはずです。確かな知識と技術で良い音のするケーブルを作ってくれるので、相談してみると良いかもしれません。
Clear Echo has provided me and my label with invaluable support over the past few years. Starting with quality cables made perfectly to spec for live shows all the way to mastering the original motion picture soundtrack for the film “Matcha & Vanilla” the sound was always pristine and clear.But more than that I found Eitan to be invaluable as a teacher. He was able to guide me to do the tricks in mixing and mastering that before had seemed impossible. He is a very patient teacher and was able to teach me how to “listen” in an entirely different way than I thought I could before. That the basic principles of EQ and compression always seemed to be a mystery before I could see in real time just how much the sound can change. Use the tools with a little guidance and slowly but surely I began to hear the problems I couldn’t before.For me I am most definitely a visual learner that does better with person to person teaching (much better than just watching a YouTube tutorial) so learning to hear it the right way was huge in improving the sound of everything I do.
