This shop has great limited artwork. The prices vary from expensive to affordable. Great souvenirs for anime lovers. And the staff were super helpful and informative. I highly recommend stopping by this shop if you love anime!
Habe vor meiner Japanreise oft etwas darüber gesehen und ich musste hin! Die Gallery ist für Anime und Manga Fans ein Traum! Einfach originale Zeichnungen oder Skizzen zu sehen. Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und man konnte sich gut mit ihnen unterhalten. Wenn man originale Skizzen möchte, muss man natürlich bereit sein den Preis zu zahlen. Ich hab mich aber für ein kleines Dragonball Bild entschieden. Wer gerne an sowas interessiert ist, muss dorthin! Es gibt in Tokio auch noch weitere solcher Galerien.
Purchased some Violet Evergarden postcard art that were cut out from an official art book, as explained by the kind employee, for around 4400 yen each. To my lack of knowledge/experience, the art book is still on sale online at the Kyoani Shop for 3300 yen and displays 30 images; 110 yen per image.Still love the art, but feeling rather cheated. A 4000% markup is crazy work for these particular pieces. That's a colossal profit assuming they cut out all the images and sold them. Gomenasai Kyoani, I have learned my lesson.Edit for owner reply:Thanks for the response. I understand that these pieces aren't provided as a "simple page" from an art book---but that's the reality of what they are under their displays. To be charging this much for presentation and long-term enjoyment when the source is still on sale, with second-hand prices at around ~4000yen, it's just too much. At the prices I bought them for, I can not recommend these as good value, and no amount of viewing pleasure can justify it.
One of the best anime art shops I’ve ever visited.The store is full of unique, original drawings and pieces you won’t find anywhere else.Rei, the staff member who helped us, has an amazing vibe. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and he treated us incredibly well from start to finish. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.If you love anime, illustration, or original art, this place is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended.
Awesome spot for any manga or anime fan tons of original drawings and cells from many anime shows and films. Although I must admit, a lot of the original stuff is priced in the thousands of dollars. They also have a ton of official reproduction prints at a more reasonable price.
Spent nearly and hour in here. Staff was extremely friendly and kept offering to show more items. They had everything from older og stories, to limited reprints, and to official movie posters. They even offer framing and bubble wrapping free with certain items. I ended up walking away with a limited reprint of a dandadan manga page fully framed and wrapped
Amazing place with original drawings and limited reproductions. The quality of the frames and presentation is impeccable. Super recommended if you want to have an unique piece of art

東京の原宿駅から徒歩１分の場所にANIME GALLERYがOPENしています。『HARAJUKU TW BUILDING 2F』エレベーターを出たら目の前に迫力あるバガボンドの絵が…。店内はフカフカの絨毯で落ち着きのある雰囲気。DRAGON BALL、ONE PIECE、NARUTO、BERSERK、POKEMONなどなどが並べられ心がワクワクします。原宿に行くことがあれば、立ち寄ってみてはいかがでしょうか！懐かしいあの頃の想い出が蘇ってくる空間でしたよ。ANIMEやMANGA好きの友人にプレゼントしたら喜ばれるんじゃないかと思います。
